It's on the corner of a confusing street and hard to get out of if the traffic is heavy. They have this really, REALLY creepy bald headed guy who reeks of cigarettes that follows you around trying to assist you.
I like to look at different things and might try something new. I don't need this walking ashtray to suggest this beer, that beer, or whatever. The one time he actually helped, it was a disaster. I was looking for a flavored vodka. He heard the name of the fruit and said we have some by another brand over here. I told him to put it on the counter as I was still looking around.
I was in the vodka section, flavored vodka section and he sold me flavored GIN! The next time I came in, I told the guy who's behind the counter I have a bottle flavored gin now that I rarely drink because I don't care for it. This guy LIED to me and said that they stopped making the flavored vodka that I preferred.
Another liquor store in Macon does carry that brand and flavor. The second place said they have to buy multiple cases to get it. that's why the guy at this joint didn't buy it anymore.
They sometimes have the wrong prices on things or it'll be priced one way and they'll charge you more. You have to watch them. They have so much stuff in there that it's hard to walk though. You have to watch out to not knock something over and break it.
Then, the creepy old bald headed guy is always lurking around or standing outside smoking.
Given the fact one of the main ones lied to me about unable to get that particular flavored vodka, the price sometimes is more than stated or no price at all, and the creepy old baldy reeking of smoke, it's just not worth going to this junky place. There are far better options in Macon for a bottle of wine that don't have creepy bald headed men staring at you all the time. read more
