Great coffee and cookies. A bit out of the way for me but when in the area I always stop in.

When I heard that this coffee shop opened close by I was super excited. I wanted to try this place with my girlfriend and landed for a coffee. The place is huge and the interiors are so modern and trendy. It's right opposite bashas high school, I now know why they picked this location ;) It's a great hangout place for a date, to work or just with friends. They follow the covid guidelines. Everything is clean and has all the required protocols. We went with German chocolate mocha and the coffee was delicious. I could literally get bites of chocolate in my coffee. It was a sugary drink, more of a in between dessert and not your regular coffee. But, I loved it. We also went with their macaroons pistachios, mango and chocolate. All were soft, fresh and delicious. The sizes were a little small but it was good. The pricing is decent and definitely a good place to hangout. Visiting soon.. read more

One of my favorite coffee shops! I love the ambience with the couches in the back, the colors and how the atmosphere is laid back. Not noisy, just good music playing, friendly staff and delicious beverages. The outside patio adds to the appeal with a part of it that's covered in addition to comfortable furniture throughout. read more

Loved my sugar free latte. They have tons of sugar free syrup options which is a bonus for me. They have tons food was excellent and the service friendly and fast. The ambiance is relaxing and comfortable. And the outdoor seating is comfortable and shaded. Great for doggos. Highly recommend giving this place a try. read more

My wife and I really like this place to go on the weekend for coffee and to play a card game. It's cozy and the food is decent.

Top cup is a good choice. I love the seasonal drinks like a cold brew with lucky charms soft top. I love the ambiance of the indoor seating. It's a great spot for meeting with friends. The service is a bit slow and I do wish they had better food options but I'd choose this local spot over other coffee chains every day. read more

Unfortunately did not care for this coffee shop. They have a great looking menu, but I got a London Fog and it was pretty bad. Totally flavorless and watered down. Normally I like to try a place more than once before reviewing on yelp, but I do not feel inclined to make another attempt at top cup. I did keep my review at 3 stars because although it wasn't my taste, I know everyone is different when it comes to coffee and tea in particular so please do give it a try and see for yourself. The London fog was not my "cup of tea" so to speak, but many others seem to love it. No comment on service or ambience and I did not go inside and ordered online. read more

I used to come to this coffee shop all the time, and I raved about their premium cereal milk lattes, and their macaroons. Today I went through their drive-through and ordered a captains cup, which is their menu name for a latte with Cap'n Crunch cereal milk. After they asked me to repeat my order, they told me it would be ready at the window. When I got to the window, a young girl came out and told me they did not have the recipe for the drink I was ordered. When I told her that I was simply ordering off of the menu, she said "OK". She then said she could just put cereal milk in my coffee if that's what I wanted, to which I replied I don't know that recipe so I will just go somewhere else. If you don't have the recipe to the drink menu listed in your drive-through, you should probably change the menu... and maybe not be rude to the customer when in fact they are ordering off the menu you have. read more

I only wish they were closer! I would visit them EVERY day. I dare say this is one of the best coffee shops in the valley. Beautiful ambiance, EXCELLENT prices, and quality beverages. I came through the drive-thru a few weeks ago and ordered a white mocha. The price was high for the size of the cup I received, but it isn't why I'm giving a 2-star review. My reason for the 2 stars is because my drink tasted like fish. It was so gross, so i had to toss it. I'm not sure if there was an ice issue that day, or maybe something that can be added was accidentally put in it. Due to the pricing, I'll continue with other places anyway. read more

Stopped by randomly, never been before and it was great! I had an iced salted caramel latte and it was DELICIOUS! I wish I lived closer to come here more often. The inside decor was so cute and it was a nice environment. There are spots you can sit and work on your laptop or read a book. They also have a drive through and a parking lot. In the front. Cute and modern place. Looks like a good tweek n' work spot. Laptops everywhere. The batista never made eye contact or offered suggestions when I spoke with her. It was kinda insulting. I mentioned I like extra sweetness and don't mind paying extra for it. Doubt she heard me as her attention was not on me. Also said I needed something I could eat while driving. She ignored me. After deciding the menu options were going to work, I noticed donut holes in a to go coffee cup. This is a perfect mobile snack and taste delicious The haze coffee is bitter and not sweet. I will most likely try this place again yet... service needs some pep talks and sales advice. read more

Cool coffee shop in the Gilbert/Queen Creek area. Top Cup has both a seasonal and permanent menu with several different delicious coffee drinks to choose from. I like how easy it is to stay updated with their drink specials by visiting their Instagram page. Inside is a nice vibe with plenty of seating spread out. There's also lots of seating outside and a drive thru. The quality of the coffee here is good, no complaints. Next time I'll have to try their breakfast items read more

My favorite local coffee shop! I'm pretty sure they roast their own coffee beans or something? whatever it is their coffee taste amazing and the syrups are great as well - I can usually tell when a coffee place has cheap syrups lol. I've been going frequently for the last few months and every single employee I've met or interacted with has been beyond friendly and very welcoming! this place definitely has a vibe that feels like home, or you're hanging out with your friends. All the pastries and food I've tried is so good, I love the turkey croissant sandwich the most. The only thing I have to say that isn't overwhelming positive is that they charge 75 cents for WHOLE MILK...... which to me has always been the standard milk, or if not the standard it's the same price as the other true milk options (meaning not a plant milk). I find it strange, I would like to know where they get their whole milk to see if it's truly better and deserving of the almost dollar upcharge. read more

A unique, hipster coffee shop with very sugary drinks? Count me in! Top Cup is a much needed coffee shop in a fairly desolate area of Gilbert, joining Black Rock coffee in giving us other options besides the unholy Starbucks. The interior is cute and well-designed, meaning it will be inundated with teenagers pretending to study as soon as the pandemic is over. I have tried the hazel hero, macanilla, vanilla chai, and cereal milk lattes. The taste is excellent and just as sweet as I hoped. My one criticism would be the pricing. At 6.50 for a small cereal milk latte, it just isn't practical. The menu dubs then as "premium" items which is pretty adequate. This is also a place that asks for tips at the window which of course you will do (cant be awful to the kind staff!) which means a small cereal milk latte can cost you 8 dollars if you leave a 1 dollar tip. The lattes are comparable in pricing to black rock, which end up being a bit pricey with tipping accounted for. read more

This place is huge!! Lots of room inside to sit and work IMO and they even have a patio. I liked the interior very much. Clean and pretty! I will definitely use it as a meeting spot after COVID. As for the coffee, I thought the PBC Puff latte was good. Their cereal milk concept is super cool. We didn't like the nitro cold brew at all and do not recommend it. Ps. They have a drive thru! The coffee might be really good but I don't know I never made it there. So this review is solely based on my experience trying to get there and also trying to contact them. From their IG and here on Yelp they look to be a cute new coffee shop and I was excited to check them out even though it's quite far for me. I tapped "directions" while on their Yelp page and while the directions got me to Val Vista, it took me to a business complex. Maybe because the area out there is quite sparse it didn't recognize the location. I tried another map and it did the same thing. I then called the number listed on their Yelp page and someone finally answered and hung up. I called back twice and both times it went to a voicemail not set up. Weird...not saying it's necessarily their fault but as a business maybe have these things checked and working for people who are trying to be customers and support. Especially the phone number. I also messaged them via IG but have yet to get a response. Either way, maybe I'll try again when I actually have another reason to come out this way as I'm always trying to support local shops. I went somewhere else this morning for coffee and am writing my review from another shop. Tip...if this happened to you via Yelp, I just found that if you don't hit "directions" and just zoom in on the map it shows it's closest to Riggs Road on Val Vista...which was what I needed to know when I was on Val Vista... and that's why I called, was to get the cross street because when actually out there driving Maps wasn't locating it correctly. ***someone responded to my Instagram DM and apologized and then later said they'd let the manager know. The map I posted is what popped up for directions, however, now I've learned that their cross streets are actually Riggs (not Germann) and Val Vista. read more

I'm so happy they built a coffee shop with great tasting coffee just a few minutes from my house! It's also a plus they have lots of seating inside and a drive through! All of the food I've tried is delicious and they have a large selection of sugar free sugars (which don't even taste sugar free). 1st time here, the Chai was not very good. I know Chai is a spice but the drink itself tasted like someone had just added hot water to the spice and served it up, no sugar, milk or anything. Just spicy Chai water. The macaroons were pricey and tasted like crystallized sugar. Just pure sugar. No flavor. I came today to give it another try. But got hot vanilla Chai aaaaaaaand they lost my order. The place isn't busy busy. There was a couple ahead of me and one person behind me and I was sitting at the coffee counter for awhile. Just waiting. I don't know if they thought I was just an AC moocher or what, but no one asked me if I was waiting on something. I didn't have a laptop pulled out or anything. Just waiting. Finally I had to tell someone because my "benefit of the doubt" approach was clearly wrong. Which even after saying something, the guy cleaned off 2 tables before he got me my drink. I don't know what I did wrong. I was nice and tipped well.... so not only am I now never coming back. I feel like I'm completely unwelcome. Not the way I wanted to start my birthday weekend. Finally on this rainy day, I took my daughter here so we can try it out!We really wanted to get some coffee and catch up a little bit. I had a hot German Chocolate Cake Mocha and my daughter had a blended Chocolate Malt. Both fantastic. We shared a chocolate chip muffin and it was okay - kind of reminded me of corn bread and it was not sweet as we thought. But the vibe and the music playing were cool and love the interior look of the place. Everyone was nice. Typical teenagers come and go given the fact Basha HS is across the street. Not only does it provide everything you want in a coffee shop experience - free wifi, plenty of spots to lounge or work, great overall ambience, aesthetically pleasing design but they also have fantastic service. Ahh- I hate to give this place 3 stars because honestly I think it has a lot of potential but it's just not there for me. I've been here a handful of times abs every-time the Coffee is just a solid ok. This last time I was there and got the bagel sandwich- I wanted 20 mins for the sandwich and then went up and I think they forgot it cause it came out about 5 mins later. Sandwich was good but the bagel seemed like it was microwaved ( the bagel bread was gummy). The actual place is very cute with tons of seating inside and outside and a drive through- nice place , I just don't love their product. read more
