Initial communication is super. After finished the first part of the job, and telling me he is…read moregoing to get the other parts, then became unresponsive. Very unprofessional. It wasted me two days waiting for him to respond. Be courteous to your client and just say you won't do it when you can't. Update: Lied about I wanted to pay him $75 only. He quoted $275 total for several repairs flat rate. I did offer him $50 extra for waiting time. He asked for $200 after I paid for the material, which I paid instantly. Then he claimed AFTER i posted the review saying he is waiting for an extra of $50. I thought $50 included in that $200 because the total original was $275 only flat, and he only finished one part of the job, and there are other remaining. Regardless what Mr. Burton is claiming, the fact is he is terrible at communicating the truth. You should not say "I am sorry Sean, I will come on Monday" if you did not plan to continue the job. Whatever you were not happy with, just say it out like a gentleman. I compensated you properly and have no regret. My other quote was only $100 for replacing the toilet, and I paid you $200, double the other quote, still gave you two days to follow up the job AFTER you apologized for not responding, then changed your mind and dropped the ball. Dropping the ball is totally okay, just say: "Sorry, i won't be able to help you", instead you are hiding behind your phone just ignoring the message, and chose to respond after posting the review. Bottom Line for customers: Be prepared to waste your time to start a project with him, because if he changed his mind, he will blaim it on you, and leave you hanging dry and high... Reducing my rating from 3 to 2.

Takes advantage of the handicapped and steals money. Do not hire Glen…read more We hired Glen to do insurance approved repairs to my father-in-law's bathroom after a fallen branch caused the roof to leak. After being given $3000 (half the money for the job) we did not see Glen again for at least a week. Once he did show back up he did very little work and only came back about once every week or two. In two months he only tore the bathroom apart and claimed to have repaired the roof before disappearing again and dodging phone calls. He imformed us he had to use our money to fix his truck and was trying to finish some other jobs to offord to finish our bathroom. This process started in mid to late September. The bathroom is still in pieces and he has not spoken to us since December, and that was only to tell us to sue him if we want to. My father-in-law is handicapped and has been having to use the guest bathroom for the past 7 months. The roof still leaks and we are now having to use the remaining money to buy the materials and complete the work ourselves, as he tore everything out of the bathroom and left the trash in our front yard before vanishing with our money. Would give 0 stars if that was an option.
