Seafood Lo Mein

After a long day, Kay was having a seafood craving and searched for somewhere suitable. She suggested Tony's and off we went. My first impression of the restaurant was a good one. It was brightly lit, and clean. We ordered to go, so there wasn't a server, but the cashier was helpful and pleasant when we asked questions. I'm guilty of shopping while hungry, ordering entirely too much food, but it was quickly prepared and appetizingly presented. While we waited, the restaurant did a brisk business, with a steady stream of customers. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant.

I love Tonys! This is the only place where I will get my egg drop soup. The soup is amazing and they add in crispy wonton strips that never make it home.

Medium fried shrimp

Order the medium size shrimp and I was actually surprised by the size. Thought they would be slighter larger than that (see attached photos). Flavor was decent but texture was a little rubbery. Service was quick and friendly though, which is always a plus. Also, the restaurant was interior was comfortable, with plenty of seating area.

My first impression of this restaurant was that it was going to be a buffet. I was mistaken, and found that the menu offered similar items that a buffet would have. Only served in large portions in to go plates or pans. I ordered the 50 wings with different flavors and i was surprised at the size of the wings. They were unlike other establishments offering drumsticks that came from a quail. Anyways, the food was cooked and packaged in a timely manner. The proprietor, although a bit difficult to understand, was inviting and accommodating. the food is yummy. I recommend this restaurant to friends, coworkers, friends, and family.

This is the BEST Chinese food in Augusta and super fast delivery! Great prices! I always get delivery from them and everything is perfect. Portions are HEAPING! So good. They have something for everyone even frog legs or alligator. My favorite is their fried rice and their wonton soup!

Sesame chicken with fried rice

I actually came here after going to Target in Evans and I wanted to give this place a try. It wasn't even all that busy it was pretty much quiet and tranquil they had many choices to choose from but I picked sesame chicken and fried rice because I was in a Chinese mood. The food was excellent and very tasty. Perhaps next time I'll try the general tso chicken. I do recommend this place. :)

I couldn't even finish this meal. The egg roll and the chicken tasted like it was cooked in old oil. The rice was edible. From the other reviews I thought that this place was good but I wouldn't eat here again. I'd rather check out another spot before resorting to this.

Sesame chicken and beef fried rice

I have eaten here twice now and both times were really good. Had crab legs the first time and sesame chicken and fried rice the second time. Really big sized portions and great prices. Has a very large variety of food here as well. Great place and will eat here again.

Fried fish was excellent. Portions are huge. Food is served in to-go containers which makes sense because you will be taking home food.

I'm not sure about those that are complaining, but the food was excellent! The service was…read moreexcellent! The ambiance was retro 1980's, but it was clean and bright inside. A definite go to place!!!

I hadn't had Chinese food in quite some time. I ordered through Doordash because it came out about…read more$8 cheaper than ordering directly through the restaurant's website. That alone should have been a red flag. I ordered three appetizers and two dinners. Shrimp toast, cream cheese wontons, steamed dumplings, a General Tso's combo with plain fried rice (because pork fried rice was not an option), and a pepper steak combo with fried rice as well. The shrimp toast was burnt and tasted of old stale burnt oil (see photo). The cream cheese wontons were not fresh. Definitely frozen. They were very dry and had a powdery mouth feel and were somewhat rubbery. Would not order them again. However, I want to think that the shrimp toast would be great if it wasn't burnt. The steamed dumplings were good. The dipping sauce was the best part of the entire meal. Very strong enjoyable garlic flavor in the sauce. The entrees..... Where do I begin? The Pepper steak itself tasted decent. However, there was only about a cup worth of pepper steak, and only about a tablespoon of actual meat. I wish there had been more. The rest of the container was stuffed with about 3lbs of really dry and crumbly fried rice. (see photo) The portion size of the General Tso's was about the same. Just an insane amount of rice compared to the actual entree portion. Zero pieces of green peppers or broccoli. Usually one or the other is in there at every Chinese place I've eaten at. I've never seen it made with just straight up chicken. Also, I ordered it "Extra Spicy" and it literally had zero spice to it. It tasted more like sweet and sour sauce on it. As others have stated, the food did not taste fresh overall. Just really disappointing. The egg rolls that came with the combo dinners were very small, about the size of a spring roll. Even the fortune cookies were rubbery. We didn't crack them in half. We basically unbent them to a flat state. Very odd indeed. Overall, I was left questioning whether any of the food that I ordered was actually made in house or if it was all al-a-restaurant-depo. I would probably not order from here again. If I did, I would probably give the shrimp toast another try in hopes that it didn't come out burnt again.
