We stayed in a chateau at the lodge which is a cabin connect to one or two other cabins. You share a front porch and patio.
It was spacious with a king sized bed, small entry, and bathroom. The bed was comfy and had heating pads for extra warmth. The shower was nice and hot. The view from the patio was a lovely countryside.
Service was excellent. We also ate dinner in the restaurant which was great. I had beef cheeks and husband had the lamb shank. We shared bruschetta, carrots, and a yummy raspberry crème brûlée. The dinner area was intimate and cozy. I also loved the local wine.
It was a 5 min drive to the town area so good location. Great stay. read more
