She will also take it slow and build up as you are comfortable. I was so nervous the first time & she was very accommodating. It's amazing how much better I feel when I leave! Now, I'll be honest - it isn't cheap. It's $175 for the first visit & $95 thereafter, but it's well worth every penny. I'd highly recommend Dr. Sheng to anyone!!

The staff: very attentive, warm, friendly and caring. Rating Dr. Zoe Yue, OMD, L. Ac.: ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING. I highly recommend getting an evaluation with Dr. Yue to see if Traditional Chinese Medicine should be part of your overall health care. If Dr. Yue feels that Traditional Chinese Medicine will not help your health concern(s), she will be honest and let you know. (I know this from sending family members and friends to her.) I recently completed my 27th treatment from Dr. Yue. My journey: Western medical treatments and medicine were not enough to resolve my current medical condition, but I was very concerned about trying acupuncture. I visited a number of acupuncture centers in the Nashville area and finally selected Dr. Yue. Why? She has decades of experience, was educated, trained and practiced in China, has an OMD from China, is licensed in the USA to practice acupuncture, has practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 30 years, was going to provide my treatments every time (vs the normal "who was available" centers), and was in the practice to optimize her patients' health. The initial consultation was very impressive. She listened to every word I said, asked critical questions, and was really thinking about what was best for my health. I told her of my "fear" of needles, and that I was reluctant to even try acupuncture, but her tone, words, knowledge, and gestures/body language comforted me, so I gave it a try, and didn't feel like a "pin cushion." My first treatment was very assuring and she gauged the number of needles by my comfort, words and body language. I was expecting each needle to feel like a bee sting, but it did not. Dr. Yue inserted the needles without pain. It was like my entire body knew it was in good hands and didn't need not worry. For the next few sessions, Dr. Yue would increase the number of needles, adjust the depth of the needles, and chart my progress. After 7 treatments, my medical condition and overall health improved immensely, and, surprisingly, I started to fall asleep shortly after she "needled me up." Additionally, it was reassuring that at the beginning of every treatment that Dr. Yue would take the time to evaluate my progress, and, if needed, make adjustments to my acupuncture care plan in order to maximize my health. Believe me, you owe it to yourself to see Dr. Yue and have her as part of your overall health care team. [This is a non-compensated endorsement from one of Dr. Yue's patients at the Lotus Center in Nashville Tennessee USA.]

I also pick up an inexpensive Chinese med that is amazing for seasonal allergies ! No sinus issues or head aches for way less than $20 a month, I guess no profit for " big pharma" so ads abound for remedies that are less effective ! She asked me a few questions about my pain before starting. She made sure the pressure wasn't too deep. I let her know that i am a typist so i really like my hands to get massaged. She did massage them but not as well as i had wanted. But overall, the massage was great! I can see myself going back. SN: i did go to the 818 E Main St Chatt, TN location and when i got there it was closed. I see that Yelp also still has that same address and they are no longer located there. It wasn't until after i had traveled to the wrong location, that i saw that the address had been changed. It was listed on my reminder email but i must've overlooked it. The new address is 7053 Lee Hwy Chatt, TN. This address is also still listed on Apple Maps and Google Map.
