The space has a cool, modern vibe without feeling over-the-top -- it's stylish but still comfortable. It doesn't feel like one of those loud, chaotic salons where you're just another appointment on the schedule. What stood out immediately was how intentional everything felt. Instead of jumping straight into the service, we actually had a real conversation about what I liked, what I didn't like about my current look, and what would realistically work for me day-to-day. I appreciated that honesty. I wasn't sold a dramatic change just for the sake of it -- the suggestions were practical and thoughtful. During the appointment, there was serious attention to detail. No rushing. No distracted energy. You can tell there's experience behind the chair. The final result looked polished but still natural -- like the best version of my hair, not something that felt forced or trendy for the sake of trendiness. What I liked most was walking out feeling confident, not just "freshly styled." There's a difference. The cut grew out well, the styling tips were actually useful, and I didn't feel pressured into buying products I didn't need. If you're looking for a place that blends skill with a relaxed, confident atmosphere -- not overly salesy, not overly dramatic -- this is it. I'll definitely be back.

I modeled them after questions I saw others ask on lives; plus, they were similar to questions I've asked other readers without problem. So I tried to clarify my questions, as he requested, without giving too much personal information, but then he just cancelled and refunded the order in full. Very unpleasant, and very disappointing experience. ------------------- UPDATED (in response to Fernando's reply): The pettiness and cattiness shown by Fernando in response to any negative review is exactly who you'll be working with. I was as polite and nice as possible specifically because I saw that Fernando could be petty in his lives and reviews, and I did not want to have that problem. But you can see how that turned out... I did purchase two (2) email readings, and I did cancel the first... because Fernando asked me for clarification when the reading was due. The second time Fernando also waited until his self-imposed deadline for the reading to ask for clarification, but I had tried to prevent this problem (to no avail) by gently confirming whether he had received my email order. It's odd that he misses his own deadlines, and then complains about the paying customer not responding immediately. When he writes that my questions were not specific enough, he must mean that he wants a question full of specific personal information, whereas my questions were like "What is the best career for me that I'll be working in in the future"? He disliked and needed clarification for five of my six questions (all but the most general one). Fernando also complains below about my question about 2026, which evolved like this: 1st email reading: "What do you see for me in 2026?" 2nd email reading: "Please tell me the highlights of my 2026?" Fernando's reply: "This would require a full 30 minute life reading appointment. Please as a single question about a situation or issue." My further clarification: "I thought that if I changed it to "highlights" of my 2026 that it would vastly reduce the question? I'm not looking for anything comprehensive, just what would stand out." Fernando Marron also complains about me, " you got defensive and instead of cooperating and following the rules you essentially stuck with your original questions." This is just false. Again, I tried to 'go along to get along' as best I could. The only "rules" were to be specific, but without specific examples; to me, my questions were specific. I did clarify and try to explain my questions, some of which seemed clear to me from the start-- Like the above career question, which seemed clear to me, but this was how that clarification conversation went: Fernando-- "Are you asking what kind of job/industry I see you getting next or are you asking about your current job's situation and growth?" Me-- "Not just a job. . . but a next career, something that could need education, could be professional, but at least something that is solid and best-suited for me-- like teacher, or librarian, or paralegal, or whatever." I don't understand at all why there was such incredible difficulty with this reading. As I wrote, my questions were very similar to questions I saw others ask him on lives, and that I've asked other readers. I really did try to work with Fernando and prevent problems, but the result was that he cancelled my reading in full, plus his response below. All of this does make me question Fernando's complete willingness to discuss details about others' experiences openly on the internet, like specific dates and specific questions, etc. But since he has tried to use this-- what seems like a violation of personal privacy-- to discredit me, I decided to be even more transparent, so those considering his services can truly understand what transpired and who he is.

All sorts of bracelets, rings and necklaces. Just a word of warning, the price is on the $$ to $$$ for some of the jade items. I have found some of the pieces unique; however there are some pieces that I've seen on aliexpress for a lot less. The one thing I didn't like is the fact some of the jade pieces are questionable in their authenticity. Jade is generally heavy and cold to the touch. Some pieces were way too light in comparison and were extremely delicate. This store also has a selection of quartz jewelry, prayer wheels, carved wooden statues and accessories for your keychains, etc.

So this store is not about the browsing for me, per se, but the purpose-driven errands. Most feng shui materials can be obtained cheaply at a crafts store, but every so often I need something specific that can be better obtained at a specialty shop. In other cities I would dart between stores in Chinatown collecting mirrors, crystals, red string, wind chimes, amethysts, etc, but here I can find everything in one place. Important to note- because of limited space, the owner has a lot more materials than she can display. Just ask for what you're looking for. This is a great place to browse if you're not into feng shui as well- she carries Buddha statues, fountains, chimes, and many neat beaded bracelets and necklaces. Worth browsing for the bracelets made by the owner alone. And hey... you never know about the feng shui. It's kinda fun!
