The sunglasses carts are at the sidewalks near the far end past the food court. On the way to NY, we stopped in a few stores. They had some really good sales for back-to-school, but we were on a mission for a few specific items. And, we do not go back to school in the traditional way. Haha. Nike and Samsonite are two of our favorite stores to check out. (December) We are back in the Pittsburgh area and opted for Grove City for some last-minute Christmas shopping. Samsonite had exactly what we were looking for and good sales. The newest boutique shop catering to women and children sells the cutest clothing and accessories. I love the POL brand and wanted to shop for myself. The owner (Tara) is very friendly and was so sweet to help me find a gift for my sister and best friend. She even tried on a sweater that I wasn't sure about (sizing). They have the most adorable baby and toddler outfits, too! We also stopped at Lululemon and The Coffee Tree at Joseph's. Highly recommend both. The sales were amazing at Lulu. I think the GC has something for everyone despite being one of the smaller premium outlets I have shopped over the years. We enjoyed the fact that it was not overly crowded.

We try to make sure we stop at all the major places, Nike, Skechers, Bath & Body Works, Adidas and new balance. Sometimes the prices are better online so sometimes we just walk around to see what is on sale and then get presently surprised when we find something. Great place to shop or to get a workout in by walking from store to store.. conveniently located right off of the highway.

The anchor stores are Nordstrom, Macy's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods. Luxury/designer stores include Burberry, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Co., Kate Spade, and Tory Burch. The mall also has many lower-priced clothing stores, including American Eagle, Banana Republic, Buckle, Chico's, Express, GAP, H&M, Hollister, J.Crew, J.Jill, Levi's, LOFT, Madewell, PacSun, Victoria's Secret, White House Black Market, and Zumiez. Unfortunately, a few of my favorite clothing stores have closed since my previous review. Several other stores sell shoes and accessories, such as Coach, Foot Locker, Kay Jewelers, Lens Crafters, Pandora, Sunglass Hut, Swarovski, Tumi, VisionWorks, and Warby Parker. The mall also has electronics stores such as Apple and phone stores. Stores for home goods include Crate and Barrel, RH (formerly Restoration Hardware), Tempur-Pedic, and Williams-Sonoma. Current restaurants are Auntie Anne's, Cheesecake Factory, Plaza Azteca, Nordstrom Ruscello, several casual restaurants in the food court, etcetera. Unlike many other indoor malls, Ross Park Mall is not dead. Most store fronts are occupied, and only a few store fronts are empty and awaiting future retailers.

I may or may not have place settings for twenty-seven people. I never tire of the tent sales, factory tours, seconds room, main room, and so on. I haven't met a piece of Fiestaware I don't like. The folks who work here are so genuine, like the product they put out. A true family of employees with the same love and obsession as people like me. Homer Laughlin introduced Fiestaware in 1936 and I even have pieces that were my grandmother's. Annually they come out with a new color and I look forward to it every year. All pieces are made here in the factory in this small WV town about an hour from Pittsburgh. The dishes and accessories are durable and last decades. Pieces made between 1936-1972 were made with a radioactive red glaze (worth a fortune now for mad collectors like me). Fear not, the modern-day pieces are lead free. I'm an absolute maniac for Fiestaware and Homer Laughlin (actually have items from their other lines as well). Love love love love. Fiesta Forever!!

Wow... what a difference a decade makes! I think it's one of the most vacant, still operating…read moremalls I've seen. Even worse than Parkway Center Mall circa the 1990s and Century III. The Malls of Western PA are on their way out. On one end is Macy's. And there were definitely more people working there than shopping there. The only other store worth going to is probably Dicks on the other end. Don't walk over for Dicks. Definitely drive over if you want Dicks. You can not get into Dicks from the mall. There's big steel door blocking Dicks. You can only get to Dicks from the outside entrance. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle. There's a buffet near the Macy's Mall Entrance too, which really makes everything smell terrible. Think Chinese food left in your car when you go to Glenn's custard, and after you eat the custard and feel good, you get back in your car and it smells like someone farted. So you air out the car and it doesn't quite go away. And you get in the car the next day and you still smell it. It's almost like a hint of hot dog water after you boil hot dogs inside. It's not overpowering, but it's there. Well, that's what this end of the mall smells like. I think people still use it for exercise, but you can get your heart rate up just sitting here alone before closing. Maybe they'll film Night of the Living Dead's 60th anniversary here. This mall IS the living dead, so it's fitting (and local to the OG Living Dead mall). Even the Pittsburgh Pirates are more alive in the post-season run than this mall. The Steel Industry is more alive than this mall. There's a better chance Mario Lemieux will come back and play another season than this mall getting new life. Dennis Bowman and Chester Drawers will come back and do the weather on WPXI before this mall becomes worthy of another visit. If you slipped, and hurt yourself at this mall, sued them, and won, you'd get a Smiley Cookie. What a terrible terrible mall.

When you get here, watch driving around as the ring road is in poor condition. Only thing holding on here are the anchors, which include Macy's, GQT Mills Cinemas, Dick's, and MAC.BID, with MAC.BID having no mall entrance. Dick's was not accessible from inside the mall on the day of my visit due to a broken gate. The interior of this mall is gigantic but empty. You can walk for minutes at a time and see nothing but empty storefronts and no other people. It appears that some storefronts were possibly never used. Pittsburgh Mills is very good looking and distinctive as it was only built in the 2000's. The food court is completely empty and most of the seating seems to have been removed. Among the very few positives include New Dimension Comics, which uses three storefronts, and might be the best comic book store in the state. TJ Buffet Sushi And Grill is an above average buffet. There are a handful of other local business, but several were not open during my visit. Citizens School Of Nursing also uses several storefronts. Overall, I don't know how they keep the lights on at the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills. Most people would have absolutely no reason to come here and there's almost no reason for the interior of this mall to be open.

It has two floors: The first level contains men's clothing and shoes, and the second level contains women's clothing, shoes, and accessories and some home goods. During my recent visit, most of my walking was around the second level. As I browsed the merchandise, two employees said hello to me. I appreciated that they did not ignore me. I saw merchandise from brands and designers such as 7 for All Mankind, Calvin Klein, Karl Lagerfeld, and Mac Duggal. The store was having a 25%-off sale, so the final prices were fairly low. I picked out travel bags to buy. A cashier immediately rang up my purchase and thanked me.

Originally, the sales clerk who helped me told me that I could return them until January under a holiday refund policy. When I called today to confirm this, the manager was very rude and said that I was mistaken. She said she couldn't do anything about it, including overwriting the system to at least give me a company credit. With service like this, I'm not surprised that this particular store will be closing in January.
