I was staying at a hotel nearby and every morning I would google search to see where I should get breakfast before we head to the main attractions in the city. This boulangerie is close to the Baucicaut Metro station, and Google also said they won the best baguette in Paris for 2009. So it was a must try. The shop is very clean, and the minute you walk in you can smell the fresh baguettes and various breads they make on premise. There's so much variety to choose from. I read somewhere also that they deliver their fresh baquettes daily to a shop on Champs Elysees.
They probably have the best croissants in all of Paris (IMO) - soft and flakey, not too buttery. They also make some very delicious fruit tarts and quiches. We bought a breakfast quiche there and they actually offered to heat it up for us in the back. Boy am I glad they did, because that was also the best quiche I've had ever.
I wish we would've found out about them sooner, because I would've been there at least once a day. read more
