The bowl of soup was large enough for two as an appetizer. The chicken skewers were good but did not resemble the photo on the wall (which was what enticed us in the first place). The two of us who ordered the pad thai (described on the menu as "pan fried noodles with shrimp, chicken, or tofu") were very pleased: "Not too much sauce, not too greasy." The dish came with condiments on the side (chili pepper, lime...). The green curry with chicken and pumpkin and red curry with duck were flavorful and delicious. The portions are rather large but it was not possible to share family style because each dish arrived with the rice already on a large dinner plate. The waitress kindly packed up my friend's leftover pad thai in a take out box. A rarity outside the US! According to our friendly, chatty waitress, her mom was the one cooking in the kitchen which explained why all the dishes came out fresh. I can't wait to return to try the other items on the menu....for the first time, I'm tempted to order for take out to maximize my culinary experiences there! The food was delicious (I ordered the 5 spice duck), and the price was very reasonable - especially for a tourist haven in Switzerland. The main downside is that they don't have many indoor tables, they're mainly a take-away joint. This didn't bother us much - we just took our food down to the lakeside to eat it. They also have menus in English, which was greatly appreciated since my French is terrible.

been here before. the place it really nice. this time around we had a bottle of wine along with…read moreour dinner. the 3 course we had consisted of a spicy, sour soup, an egg roll and then our entrée. the soup was astounding, I could literally have it as an entrée. the spring roll is very fresh and piping hot. the sauce for the spring roll is good. my main entrée was the cashew chicken and white rice. the plate is on a plate warmer, which keeps your food at a great temp and not boiling hot. the care and meticulous way of the waiter and waitress was a pleasant escape from average service. *** now for the weird part*** we were presented a plate of appetizers which we clearly did not order (brought to our table after our main entrée). it was brought to us and sat down in front of our daughter, which surprisingly she did not grab and eat. after the waitress realized she made a mistake (pointed out by the waiter), she did not return the plate. *** in America, if there was a mistake, you could go ahead and eat the extra dish and not be charged. however here, if you eat the extra, you pay for it. it was fine, and I don't want to act like George Costanza, but you would think the waitress would have said," hey, we messed up, let me take this plate or you can have it, but you will have to pay for it." all in all it was a great visit and glad we stopped here.
