I had nothing but positive experiences in this shop. It has to be known that this is a tourist spot and, while in the Village in Lake George, this was a cool and convenient place to pick up gifts for loved ones. A good selection of interesting items were for sale, ranging from wood carvings to other folksy items, and even some native-American themed items. As another reviewer stated, the knives for sale in the case were 50% imported from China and the other 50% were well-made Benchmade blades, albeit a bit inflated in price. That said, a little something for every budget in that department, I reckon. The staff were entirely courteous and kind, being helpful the entire time. I enjoyed my time here. If you want to be followed around and harassed the entire time - This is your place. However, if you are like me, and just want to browse uninterrupted - This is NOT your place! Was in this shop about a year ago and the creepy older gentleman that was working started following my friend and I around the store. Was extremely annoyed by the situation but I get that they get quite a few visitors from all over and may have an issue with theft. Regardless, we were looking at shoes and felt like he might as well have sat on the bench with us because he was so overbearing. Fast forward to just this past weekend (mind you it is off season, and we were the only ones in the store) same exact thing happened but with a completely different employee. Everywhere I turned the male employee was there watching. There was a young lady working at the time as well, she checked in on us but didn't make me feel like a criminal like the man was making me feel. I will never go back into this store! Everything they sell you can find online for the same price or in the case of the moccasin's we were looking at, cheaper. read more

I stopped here while visiting from out of state and really liked the selection of items and they even had rings tiny enough for my hands. I purchased something that wouldn't fit into my luggage and the girl who helped me was so nice and shipped it to me. The item arrived perfectly in tact and very well packaged. Just OK, the knives are cheap imported blades, or expensive Buck knives. There is a huge section in the rear with clothes and shoes but it doesn't seem very popular. Has some souvenirs, but alltogether a kind of scattered product offering at this store. When I walked in, a lady at the counter was yelling at a coworker ("Your paycheck will be mailed within the week! I need you to relax!"). Shrug. read more

The Tom Tom shop is one of my favorite destinations in lake George village! Annie, the manager is always sooo friendly and accommodating! The staff here are wonderful and I always make it a point to stop in when we visit. I wish I could give this place 10 stars instead of just 5! read more

The manager Ann is rude and the staff that work here are rude as well. We bought an item and it broke and they would not replace the item and instead we were told to mail the item(s) back to the address on the box. I'm sorry isn't this what the store is for? We could have bought this online if we were working directly with the manufacturer. This shop should be skipped altogether not worth anyone's time. read more

The staff were so helpful and kind to us! One of the girls there even took the time to help me pick out moccasins.

My son bought something here that broke within a day. We brought it back to the store and the salespeople laughed at my child. He asked to see the manager and he literally yelled at my son! My husband called and was hung up on by Ann when he asked to speak to the man. I called and Ann rudely told me to mail the item to the manufacturer. Seriously? Mail a souvenir to the manufacturer? My family has been coming to the lake since the 1950s and have introduced many people to its beauty. I will tell everyone to avoid this store. Rude workers and crap products! read more

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They sent me a broken product and then wouldn't give me a refund or a new product when I asked. They were very rude and had horrible customer service. I would never recommend ever buying something from this joke of a company read more

My son had gone into store with his friend and wanted to purchase one of their chalices. I said no. We will get in next time. Well next time it had been sold and there were no more left. Anne ordered it for him and we came back two weeks later. Unfortunately it has become discontinued. Anne went above and beyond ...emailing the manufacturer, searching amazon and ultimately emailing me with all the specifics, the manufacturers direct website in case it was still offered retail. I was able to eventually find it on eBay, alleviating the mom guilt I I felt about saying no the first time. Anne really went the extra mile when she could have stopped the first time and just said it was sold out. She did it all with a smile and i really felt that she cared and wanted to help. She wasn't making any money and it prob cost her her own time to help us. Thank you! The TomTom Shop will always be a stop for us when we are in town! read more

Service is absolutely dreadful. There are many cute little gift shops around the area of Lake George; this is the one and only I would ever ward people away from. The workers are rude and this shop is a waste of time. read more
