We currently live out of country so it was very important for us to find the right fit for this situation. It can be very scary entrusting your home with people you don't know, but we feel very pleased with the tenants Matt helped us find and where we are at with our rental. From coaching us with prep before hitting the market, to managing the rental process, and even doing a mid-lease follow up to make sure everything was going well, we would totally recommend Matt and would definitely love to continue working with him! Also a big loving shout out to Brel themselves - Mel & Brendan - 2 incredible people!! Thank you for all the love, fun, & guidance over the years, we adore you both and wish you and your team nothing but the best!

We just sold our home through BREL and we could not have been happier!…read more We had some bad experiences in the past with agents when selling our previous homes, so we did a LOT of research to find the right agent to sell this one. After interviewing 4 agents, we went with Lisa Bednarski and BREL and we are so glad we did. Lisa's enthusiasm, positive attitude, and excitement at the challenge was a refreshing change. She was patient with us when we needed reassuring, and got us through all the steps to SOLD. In 3 days after listing! Kiel, the BREL stager did an amazing job making our home look like it was in a magazine! I recommend BREL for anyone buying, or selling. In this day and age, most real estate agents are like dinosaurs, but not BREL, they are showing the rest how it should be done in the digital age, and with all the marketing tools available, not just an MLS listing. Do your research and you will see why so many of BREL's clients are singing their praises... they are just that great. Thank you Lisa Bednarski, this Lisa is grateful we found you!

Nadia was always quick to highlight new properties, answer our questions, and make herself available for viewings. However, she was also patient and respected our purchase criteria. Lastly, I was very impressed with her integrity in highlighting a major issue she had discovered in a pre-closing inspection that put the deal in significant jeopardy. I would highly recommend Nadia.

He not only provided many excellent properties, set up viewings, and submitted offers for us. He was much more professional than any of the others. [Update in response to business reply:] I want to clarify…read morethat I never asked Ben to lie or misrepresent anything (I have text correspondence to prove it). I simply requested discretion when presenting the lease application--something I later confirmed with another licensed real estate agent is entirely standard and ethical in this industry. Ben's reply avoids the core issue, which is that he disclosed private information against my clear instructions and responded with hostility and abusive language when I addressed it. Notably, in his response, he does not deny using the language I described--something that should give any prospective client, especially women, serious pause before deciding to work with him. Now that I've seen how he chooses to handle client concerns, it's clear he was never acting in my best interest. In hindsight, I'm relieved I never purchased a property through him--because the financial and emotional consequences would have been far greater. ------------------------------------------------- [Review update:] I had previously written a positive review for Ben Fenlon based on an experience in 2022, but I now feel obligated to update it after a recent encounter that was deeply unprofessional and unacceptable. When I attempted to lease a unit, Ben disregarded my clear instructions and disclosed private information to the listing agent without my consent--jeopardizing the deal and violating my trust. When I addressed this, he became aggressive and disrespectful. He raised his voice, used vulgar language, and told me that if I was going to "act bitchy," then the lease "wasn't worth his time" because the commission "wasn't high enough." I had asked Ben to follow a common and fully ethical approach, and to exercise discretion when presenting the application. I expected him, as my agent, to handle the process strategically and professionally, without disclosing unnecessary personal information that could weaken my position. Instead, he ignored my instructions, dismissed my concerns, and treated me with outright disrespect when I raised them. His conduct was not only unprofessional, but also at odds with the duty of care, loyalty, and discretion expected of a registered real estate professional under RECO's Code of Ethics. I can no longer recommend Ben's services under any circumstances.

Susi's knowledge of school ratings and the quality of surrounding communities/wards is second to none. Being a parent herself, she is able to tie back complex rating metrics to genuine concerns a parent typically has about schools/neighbourhoods. She was very empathetic in dealing with our emotional roller coaster while buying our house, yet she stepped up assertively when highlighting a potential pitfall in a house or within the process. Susi has surrounded herself with a network of qualified resources/professionals... Everyone who works for/with her knows by heart her bullet proof process and execute with military precision. When a colleague/friend from work introduced me to Susi, given my friend's over-zealousness, my sceptical hunch was that they must be friends... little did I know that few weeks later my wife and I will end up with a beautiful house and a sincere new friend. I wouldn't mind going again through the process of buying a house, since I'm sure Susi will have our backs!

My Fiancee and i were in a long hunt for the perfect home (long because we wanted THE BEST and also in Toronto haha) and we were happy to have Susi be there every step of the way with us. As first time home owners we were new to the market (especially the Toronto market). We were eager and just wanted to get our foot into the door but also find that special first home. Prior to selecting our agent we had some long and grueling questions prepared for the candidates we wanted to select. Susi was great at meeting with us prior to our selection and was very helpful when meeting. She walked us through her experience, her strategies and the paperwork we would potentially see when purchasing our home. Susi was extremely friendly but will tell you things straight up. She is quick in responding to text messages/emails (sometimes even faster than my best friends/fiancee!) and she works above and beyond/ always accommodating our needs (working weekends, late nights, birthdays of her kids/husband (so sorry Susi!!)) Within the time span of 6 months, looking at 30+ homes, being very excited on one home that didn't fall through (on our part because we knew it wasn't the perfect home just yet..), we finally found the perfect home. Susi made the whole offer process very easy. She prepped us with her plan prior to going into the bidding war (bidding war of 6 other offers!) and she sold us to the sellers genuinely and perfectly. We closed our deal with great success and everything has been smooth sailing to the end of the whole process. During the period between the closing date, Susi was always there when we had questions and was always ontop of her game when we requested our visits. After we moved in, she also made sure everything was going smoothly and we were comfortable. Great person to reassure that this purchase was the one for us. Susi also offers free lock changes and home inspection(only on your first offer house- so make sure that house is the one!) She was also great with providing us boxes for our move! Susi will be our go-to real estate agent now and i am so happy to not only have made a great partner in the real estate market but also friend! We were very happy with the whole process and will 100% recommend her to others!

We saw that Neveen had absolutely glowing reviews and decided to bite the bullet. THE BEST bullet we've ever bitten - Neveen turned out to be completely everything we wanted in our experience - she's kind, she's patient, she's thoughtful, she's detail oriented, attentive - I could go on and on, but the word I would use to describe working with her is - seamless. She's extremely efficient and an effective communicator. There was never any "chasing" involved - you contact her, she responds. You have a question, she answers. Overall - Neveen is also extremely empathetic and she can just read you on an energetic level. She could tell right away when we weren't feeling a listing, but goes out of her way to not only show you listings you want, but to point out listings you want to avoid. We were pretty aggressive with showings, and my partner and I were able to find a home in two weeks. Throughout this time, Neveen worked tirelessly and made sure the whole ordeal was, again, as seamless as could be. And she's lowkey hilarious. The laughs we shared during this time, actually blossomed into a great friendship. No doubt we will continue to keep contact with Neveen - she was part of a huge milestone, and greatly impacted our lives. Working with Neveen has been amazing, and I apologize to her personally that I couldn't get this out into the universe fast enough. But if you're looking for a sign to work with Neveen, this is your sign! Thank you, Neveen!
