Old school. Competitive fuel prices and normal convenience store items at a fair price. The smoked meats, handmade sandwiches and extras like coleslaw , potato salad etc. make this a cool place . Try the handmade sandwiches and yes it does get a little busy certain times of the day and you will have to wait five or 10 minutes on your order but it's worth it. Staff is very friendly. Stopped in tonight around 12:30 AM after I got off work and my total was $6.21. I paid with two 5s and a quarter, so $10.25. I was refused my change, stating I paid $6.25 and was only owed $.04. When I politely informed him I had paid $10.25, the cashier raised his voice at me to the point that I chose to walk away instead. I work for tips and left with nothing smaller than a $5 after my shift tonight, reinforcing that I paid $10.25. I was frequenting here for the last year and have never been anything but friendly. I will gladly patronize this establishment during day/evening hours when the staff is always friendly, but I will drive across the state before stepping foot in here during the overnight shift and dealing with this individual's idea of customer service. Extremely disappointing, considering the frequency Tomcat Corner was receiving business from my family and I before tonight.
