We are taking him and his company to small claims' court to recoup the mon we will have to pay to get another firm to undo all the damage Before and After Concrete and Landscaping did to our garden--damage to the fence, bushes, and lawn. i hired Eric Taylor to move a fence, replace posts and panels as needed, remove two trees, and was going to have him do a walk and drainage work after fence was completed. Agreement was for me to pay half upfront, half on completion of work. After the first three-hour day, he hit me up for more money--even though he'd not used any supplies! It rained the second day, but they never showed Day 3-a pattern, I discovered. Eric's word was meaningless. If he said they'd show up, they might. If he said they'd show up at 8, they might appear at 10. Or not. A job that should have taken two or three days was into its third WEEK! But the work they did when they actually showed up was NOT worth waiting for--even though Eric's daily requests for money would make you think the results were priceless. He used railroad ties instead of fence posts! (I had to go out of town for a pre-planned appointment; it was 10 days after Eric Taylor started, and work should have been long over.) The fence is NOT straight. They cut the fence so it does not go into the dirt. Instead it hovers above the ground. They threw my dirt onto neighbors' property. They dug up and killed six shrubs. They destroyed my lawn, driving a truck unnecessarily onto my grass and treating my back garden like a construction zone. They left shavings all over my yard. They dug up my cable line -- why?! And left it exposed on Day One of a fence job, far from the line. Eric kept asking about digging the hole for the drainage system, looking to jam me into another job--and more money. He bought one bag of cement at a time, pouring very little into each post hole; when I showed him how each post wobbled scarily as a result, he fast-talked me in an effort to avoid using more materials (before requesting more money, of course). (Some photos included. Many more available.) This was worse than shoddy workmanship. This was nonexistent workmanship. Learn from my miserable experience and avoid Eric Taylor and Before and After Concrete and Landscaping.

They took it down easily and we're super kind to do that for me. We need more people like this in the world. I will definitely be contacting them for my next Tree project.
