If you are getting fillings, he makes sure you aren't in pain, and if you need a root canal, he works you in the schedule quickly. When my dad had a dental emergency, Dr Fortner came in on a weekend to take care of him. How many dentists do that? We would highly recommend Dr. Fortner to others.

The facility is modern, tasteful and comfortable. EVERY member of the staff is kind, welcoming, and gracious. I had an appointment this morning and when the hygienist was walking me back to the room where I was to have my cleaning, I was greeted no fewer than five times, by name, by people on the staff. I felt like a ROCK STAR! I needed to have x-rays updated and the hygienist was very gentle and sensitive to the fact that I have an "over-excited" gag reflex. The cleaning, polishing, and flossing were thorough and pain free. A service that Dr. Fortner offers is a cancer screening of your mouth. As I enjoy an occasional cigar, I always welcome this additional exam. I cannot recommend Dr. Fortner highly enough. If you are looking for a dentist in Salisbury, NC, make an appointment to see Dr. Fortner. You will be glad that you did.
