After visiting an Urgent Care that diagnosed me with a contusion, I started to get a little worried…read morea month later when the swelling from a slip and fall was just as bad as the day after the incident. I was lucky enough to come across Family Foot Center, and they fit me in as soon as I could visit. They did physical therapy and diagnosed me in the same visit! It was very affordable too. I spent less than half of what I spent on that original Urgent Care visit! Even better, the family culture they foster there. They don't have state of the art facilities or an X-Ray machine, but I felt comfortable and relieved when leaving their Bloomfield location after my first visit.

I want in there walking normally, and haven't walked right since then. The podiatrist is…read moreunprofessional , callous, and bossy. They will not let me have my records. She caused me more injuries than I already had. The office is unsanitary, and she swears and yells at the receptionist who is her husband. Run out of there while you can still walk! Please be warned! I wish that someone had told me! I may have to get a lawyer because they will not release my records to me. She didn't even know what dose Amoxicillin is dispensed in. Worst doctors experience that I have ever had!

I've been going to Dr. Vess for a couple of years now, and I'd gladly give him 10 stars if I could…read more I have horrendous feet, and I go in regularly to have my nails done and callouses removed. He spends a good deal of time with me, and his work is exemplary. When I tell you I walk out feeling like I have brand new feet I'm not exaggerating. The receptionist is wonderful, and only adds to the exceptional experience.

I went to the doctor for a pair of custom orthotics for my feet. The doctor assured me that if I…read morehad any issues that I could call the office. Specifically, I wanted the orthotics adjusted so one was thicker than the other. I called the office to explain that I wanted one orthotic for one foot made a bit thicker. However, my request was met with resistance by the doctor's female assistant who insisted I return to his office for an office visit in order to accomplish this. This new requirement of an additional office visit was not consistent with what Dr. Vess had told me initially: that I could call to provide feedback and request any adjustment to my new orthotics. I think requiring me to again travel to his office, PAY for another office visit, just to accomplish this simple adjustment to my custom made orthotics was overreaching and unnecessary. I will NEVER go back to him for this reason. Doc: get a better gatekeeper who understands how patients are affected by this abhorrent practice. You're trying to milk me and the insurance just so you can get income from another office visit, which is TOTAL bull.
