Highly recommend with the Best Butties in the area. My place of work which is 16 miles away often use their delivery service. The baked potatoes are also very good. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. read more

The 20 item Deep Fried Combo is a great start to any meal and at £6 is a bargain too. Also highly recommended is the Cantonese Style Special Sweet and Sour. The portions are all generous sizes and the set menus offer some fabulous combinations starting at £14 for two people or an extra £5 for a two person meal with an additional 1/4 duck. They accept credit cards and telephone orders but are closed on Tuesdays.

Then there are places that you go to of a night out for some scran because you just bloody love the place. Harun's is one such place. Despite recently painting the shop a rancid orange colour, Harun's remains the best takeaway in Southport for you to greedily stuff your mouth with greasy goodness in the early hours of the morning. The food there is well made and delicious albeit not particularly cheap (damn you Southport) and the staff there are friendly and will happily talk with you for hours about good Turkish footballers (believe me; it happens every week when we go). They also have a punching machine in there (perhaps to curb the violent enthusiasm of the Southport residents) which causes much hilarity at three in the morning when my mates decide to show each other who can hit something the hardest. Harun's je t'aime.

A logistics company rather than a food company. That grips aside Dominos is a perfectly adequate pizza delivery place. Once you have ordered from them they will continually send you vouchers to tempt you into ordering again. Experts in pizza delivery and the foods not to bad either.

This McDonald's is the only location within Chester city centre, it is located on Foregate. It is…read moretherefore close to Marks and Spencer, Primark Game and Wetherspoons. The location seems pretty modern towards the back of the store (ordering and pick-up area), however, the rest of the store (seating area onwards) seemed poorly kept and dirty, even by McDonald's standard. I ordered a Millionaire's Latte via the ordering app, there was some confusion with my order as it appeared to come up as ready on the big-screen before they had even finished it, the espresso quality was really watery and it was tasteless, to make matters worse it wasn't even that hot, other than a blob of squashed chocolate-scented cream, it just tasted like hot water. The staff also seemed rushed, even though the store wasn't too busy and they had maybe 3 or 4 other orders at the same time, which shouldn't be a problem for a large store with more staff members working than that (If it had to be done, each staff member could have done an order each with ease). It really does seem this McDonald's store has declined even by McDonald's standards since the peak of reviews (which were even average back then) in the late 2000's/early 2010's and it just doesn't seem up to scratch here anymore, I even had to throw away my drink it was terrible. 1*
