Filthy!!! My mother went there for years and has recently passed. She liked how they knew her every time she went in. I thought I would give them a chance and went back. Cons: Appointment Only Masks Uses same utensils on everyone without proper sterilization Hasn't been cleaned in years and years Old and warn out furniture 2 employees do it all Need of socialization skills Pros Nails turned out nice It's a shame that this business is still up and running without any accountability for lack of cleanliness. I don't have a picture of this mess but if you walk in for the first time I'm sure you will turn around and walk out. Time for this business owner to shut down or cleanup and have more pride in what she does and her surroundings. read more

DO NOT THINK ABOUT IT! Would leave zero stars if I could. Not only is the "Salon" filthy, I have never felt so belittled at any business in my life like I did here. I came in for a shellac change. Took about 2 hours to get the service done. I said I wanted my nails cut shorter and she literally clipped down to my skin. It still hurts. She left rough edges and left the sides of my nails with no polish. I went to to pay and she knew I was not happy but ignored it. I said calmly I feel the service is not worth full price and she yelled and said to sit down to have them removed. I said I've already been there 2 hours and have no nails left. She told me to leave. I immediately made an appointment at my usual salon in Green Bay. I got in my car and had to fight tears because of how crappy I was treated. read more

Had a 4 pm resrvation. Didn't sit at a station until 15 minutes later and then sat for 30 minutes with hands in lukewarm water before a technician arrived. Work was fast and clean; good nail color selection which is why they received a star. Hand massage took about 1 minute per hand. Will not return, noticed they have not received an award for the "best of Manitowoc" for the last 2 years. Not surprised. read more

Terrible service. Called ahead for a time spot. Waited 30 min after time to be seen. Sat for another 30 with feet soaking being ignored. Lady doing my manicure didn't speak English and was rough. Would push and pull at my feet. All this while my friend that was with me was being ignored. My lady moved to her while another gal applied my polish. She put it on so heavy it too forever to dry. They let us sit for another 20 min with no directions. We got up to leave and pay and no one made an effort to check us out. To add, the place was filthy, full of debris everywhere. There was even food on the floor. I am usually a good tipper. I didn't leave one! First and last time I will use this place. read more

This review is an average for the total amount of times I visited. The first time I visited was about a month ago. I never in my life had my nails done (I'm pretty low maintenance), but I decided to get them done to see what the hype was about. When I called to make an appt a female answered and was quite rude. She demanded what I wanted done. I told her I never had my nails done so I didn't even know what. I'm a nail biter but still want nails so my left hand had nails and my right hand was chewed off. She just said never mind just come in. When I walked in it was busy, there were probably about 10 customers and 3 workers. The lady who spoke to me on the phone asked to see my hands. She told me to go sit at station 3. Well never being there before, I had no idea where station 3 was. Long story short my so called appointment took over 3 hours to finish. The end manicurist told me if I had actually made an appointment I wouldn't have waited so long. I paid $40+tip for them to put acrylics on my right hand and paint my left hand. They told me to return in 2 weeks for a fill. My 2nd time was for the fill. I called ahead but still had to wait. Not 3 hours, I would say the whole appointment took about an hour and a half. That one was $35 for a fill. This last time I decided to get the acrylics removed. I guess it's my mistake for assuming but I thought they would leave my natural nails as is and just remove the paint and fake nails. But the lady who always answers the phone chopped off all my nails (granted this is 4 weeks of non nail biting) without even asking me first. She left them all jagged and told me soak. I soaked them for about 45 minutes before a different lady came to wash them off. She then asked how I wanted the length, a little late, don't you think? I wanted them long. Or what they were before I came to the salon. They are super short. She was nice and tried to make small talk. But by that time I was just too pissed I just wanted to get out of there. There were older customers there that may have been regulars so I noticed they got lotioned and all that jazz which I did not at my first and second appt. I also accidentally called another nail place before coming here snd they said nails removal would be $10. After my nails were done they charged me $15. I did not leave a tip. I think if they got rid of the rude chick who always answers the phone, their customer service would increase drastically. But otherwise in the future I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Very friendly service and smiling staff. Atmosphere is average. Hardworking employees and service with a smile.

I had to wait 20 mins for a pedicure which was fine but didn't realize there was a wait when they had me sit & soak my feet as nothing was said. The nail tech was great & did a fabulous job so it made up for the wait. read more

Terrible... We walked in and not a hello. Then told my daughter and I to go to the chairs on the ends. The water was Luke warm and we had to turn on our own chairs which is no biggie, my daughter sat for 45 minutes and then a technician came over. Now asked if water was good and she said it was cold then he said do you want it warmer she said yes and he said no, then he asked how my water was and I said it was cold. Do you want it warmer I said yes he said no. Now after an hour sitting with soaking feet my technician started. I was not impressed with the results. Polish was in my cuticles and a small chip came out before we left the spa. Too bad they only got. $2 tip. Would have been $10 wouldn't go back. read more

Where to begin... Words cannot begin to describe the utter disgust I had receiving nail services at this establishment. I can't believe I paid $35 for a nail technician to do a worse job than I could do at home. No dead skin removal, no massage, lack of experience, and poor customer interaction. My nails are slanted and squared when I wanted a rounded nail. I had every intention to get the shellac manicure and decided on a normal polish because I just wanted to leave. It's inconvenient to only be able to leave cash tips, and the entry way to the shop is tiny! We were rushed to pick out our nail polish in order to let new customers in. Loitering non-technicians crowded the shop and created an uncomfortable atmosphere. When my nail polish color started to run out the technician added acetone to make more. My sister described her pedicure "massage" as torturous and just wanted them to stop. Plus, the shop got smokey and smelly when someone made some kind of overpowering meat, our other sister had to leave the shop all together. I would never return to this establishment, and I would never recommend any one go here. Maybe they were "Manitowoc's Best" a few years ago, but they are definitely not today! read more
