All the way long to the registers to pay , then all the way back to get the pole cut, then all the way back to the register to pay for the pole. How inefficient can it be! The wood place is in the furtherest area from the registers. Why can't one pay for the cut when one buys the pole pieces. . Or, pay for the cutting AT the cutting place? OR, get free cut?? It took them all of 3 seconds. What a drag.
I am 100% sure that is not the stupid policy in the USA. Customers there wouldn't put up with that.
