Boat insurance can be a bit tricky and we had to shop around to get the best price while not sacrificing coverage. Mike was able to provide us with exactly the coverage we were looking for at the right price. The office is conveniently located near Greenbrier Mall in case you prefer the hands on, gotta go to the office - otherwise it can all be handled via email, fax and postal mail. We, knock on wood, never had to actually submit a claim which was nice. Every single change we made to the policy was handled quickly and done correctly the first time. My biggest pet peeve with insurance agencies is having to redo the paperwork because a detail was missed - not the case with this office, Mike or Natalie Bettencourt. They give you the kind of personal service you just don't find much these days. They offer a variety of personal, commercial and life insurance products from a number of different carriers. They work hard to find the best products to suit your needs. I was already aware of this agency's great reputation in the community so a couple years ago when I became disenchanted with my auto insurance rates I called Centerville and asked them what they could do for me. The following day I visited their office which is located on the third floor of the Oakbrooke Professional Center on the corner of Network Station and Innovation Drive just off of Clearfield Avenue in the Greenbrier section of Chesapeake. The building is also home to a number of other businesses which share a large private parking lot. The building and grounds are well maintained and there is plenty of available parking. I brought the declaration page of my current policy from another company with me when I visited the office so they could make a direct comparison for a new policy. They made copies of my paperwork and since it was late in the day they said they would work up some different options then get back to me. The weekend was upon us so on Monday they were ready with some options for me. I appreciated that they checked with multiple carriers. Ultimately they gave me a great policy with Erie Insurance that had better coverage with higher limits and the same deductibles as my previous policy. I got a better policy and saved a ton of money, the Erie policy was $900 a year less than I was paying and they even guaranteed the rate wouldn't increase for three years. Needless to say, I was thrilled. The paperwork was processed quickly. I wrote a check and was soon on my way. I've written a couple check since then and they have remained true to their word, my rates have not increased. In my previous policy period they even issued a small refund to help compensate for a general decrease in miles driven due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The agency is owned by Keith and Laurie Miller and they have been in business for many years. They and their staff have a lot of industry knowledge and experience and are committed to treating you with respect and providing you the best products for your individual needs while backing it up with outstanding customer service. I appreciate the great communication I get from the agency and how they stay in touch with my needs. Five stars, I highly recommend this agency for your insurance needs. Oh, one more thing. I always pick up a nice free company branded ink pen every time I visit the office. I have one in my pocket right now.
