Okay. I called these people having seen them on Yelp. I set up an appointment. The guy came out. I was at work, so my wife delt with him. First of all, there was a bit of a communication barrier, but that's not unusual. He looked through the system and came up with a list of things needing done. He told my wife he would give the list to his boss and the boss would get back to me with an estimate. That was about a month ago and I haven't heard anything back. Last week I called another service. They came out, looked everything over and found one head that needed to be replaced. Easy, quick, and cheap. Irrigation companies are a dime-a-dozen in Houston. Most can repair what ever you need done. Few will do it with the level of customer service I experienced with TIS. John Taylor is as big of a proponent of customer service as I have ever met and he not only preaches it, but he follows through like I've rarely seen. I am not one carelessly put my name behind a business, but this is one I would recommend to anyone. They will fix anything you could ever need related irrigation because it is what they know. More importantly, if they make a mistake (they are human just like the rest of us), they will own it and make it right. read more

John Taylor can't give estimated pricing over the phone for an irrigation system but when someone shares a one star review on yelp base on the bad experience, then he replies and try's to justify why he doesn't give out pricing but then he contradicts himself by giving out free $129 sprinkler check up because he can't except or handle a response that happened. What a hypocrite... Mr. I am on the board of Houston sprinklers because prices that are super secret so I can't give an estimate over the phone. In his response to my yelp review trying to call me out, and hiding behind his weak response or his counter to beg people whoever reads my yelp review will give them a free sprinkler check up valued at $129 but wait he can't give estimated prices on the phone. What a joke! Let's see what this non- sprinkler clown's response will be now...because you sure had a response before... lastly, I use yelp to share my piss poor experience since I can't legally throat punch you without going to jail. read more

First off I like to say that my previous experience with this company was great. However I contacted them by phone. (Never once has someone answered) left a message stating what my needs were. I was contacted back and we made an appointment. The day of my appointment I had to call after they didn't show after a couple hours of the scheduled time. I called and asked if he was still coming. I was told, sorry I thought it was a floating appt. No problem he said he would be right over. After coming out and assessing the problem he said he would send a proposal. After a week I had to call and leave a message once again to ask them to send me the proposal. I received the proposal and accepted it and sent an email back saying, please call me to schedule an appointment for the repair. This was a week ago and not a word or response. I don't know what has happened with in the company in the past year but one thing is for sure is you will have to bother them at each and every stage to get your work done. Well sorry to say but I'm done. There are many other business's in Houston that will gladly take my business. read more

Not the best experience. We signed a contract back in December 2017. While we experienced delays with our POA, unrelated to TIS, the issue was resolved in April 2018. We are still waiting for this work to be completed. Despite promises to begin the work, dating back to May, June, and August, we've seen very little progress. The sprinklers that were installed in the front yard are apparently not working and the bedding plants are dying. We've emailed and called multiple time in August, but have received no response. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this company. read more
