Went there for a replacement tire and got one for $35. It's in good condition and I will return to replace the rest of the tires on my 2003 Toyota Solora. If you're looking for low cost tires in South Sac, Tire Stop is a great choice! read more

First off you can't understand a word. This guy says. Second of all he gave me a quote to patch a tire for $10 and then try to charge me $60. The language barrier is hard enough let alone feeling like I'm being ripped off. I would suggest you highly avoid this place if you would like to keep your sanity. Not only that these people are very rude towards westerners read more

I recently picked up a nail in one of my worn-down Bridgestone tires (235/50 R20) on my EV, so I started calling around for quotes. Most shops were quoting me between $1,300-$1,600 for replacement tires and that wasn't even for EV-specific ones. When I bought my EV in 2023, it came with Bridgestone tires that meet EV standards, but I later found out they aren't actually EV-specific. Even though they advertise a 50k mileage warranty, my tires only made it to about 40k, and apparently that warranty doesn't really apply the same way for EVs since they tend to wear tires faster. After learning that, I decided it didn't make sense to spend 2-3x more on big-name or EV-specific tires. I ended up going to Tire Stop this morning and got a full set for just $580 (cash) out the door. The tires are from Cosmo Tires, not a big brand I was familiar with, but they come with a 70k mileage warranty and seem to have solid ratings on their website. The experience at Tire Stop was excellent. There was no pressure, no upselling, and the staff was friendly and straightforward. They got me in and out in under 30 minutes, which was impressive. It's a smaller shop and they don't do alignments, but they'll refer you to a nearby place if needed. While you wait, there is seating available; however, it's an open garage, so the area isn't climate-controlled. There's a convenience store next door and a shopping center across the street if you'd prefer a more comfortable place to wait. If your tires come with a manufacturer warranty, I recommend registering it online during your wait. It only takes a few minutes, and you'll typically need a copy of your receipt. After driving on the new tires today, I was honestly impressed! One thing I was concerned about with non-EV tires was road noise, since EVs are so quiet, but these tires are surprisingly smooth and quiet. If not better than, the original tires that came with the vehicle. Overall, I'm really happy with both the price and the service. If you're just looking for good, affordable tires without the hassle, Tire Stop is definitely worth checking out. I'll be coming back for future tire needs. Thank you, Tire Stop!! Extremely rude. I called ahead of time for a quote and to see if they had time to take me for service today or an appointment. Whoever answered the phone answered very rude and abruptly asked me for my tire size before I could finish my sentence and then asked me to wait and started talking to someone else in the background. Then asked me again for my tire size and before I could even get a word out he said "tire size!! Give it to me now!!" I hung up. Please spend your money else where. read more

So nice, quick service, and a good price. I highly recommend! Took us last minute and didn't have to wait.

Tire Stop - Tires Near Me - Sacramento, California

I was on my way to work from Stockton to sacramento when I ran over a heavy item on the freeway which caused a plastic to come lose on the bottom I pull up and ask the kid working there if they can just lift it up so I can take it off an older Indian man with glasses comes up to the kid and rudely snatches the jack from his hands and says we don't do that here and starts being rude to the kid . Was it really that much of a bother to help lift the car up ?? I'm in a hurry to get to work fastest 60-80 bucks they coulda make and I'll do the work I just needed a jack . read more

I had a tire that had a nice rip in it. I needed a new tire, needed something that wouldn't cost me too much but that would be reliable and last for several months. I looked at many different used tire shops, I chose the Tire Shop because they are very close and they have good reviews. Went in on Monday morning, I was in and out of there in 20 minutes and now I have a reliable tire that only cost me $40. As I was there, another gentleman came in, you could tell he was a regular by their conversation. I asked if he has been there before and he has and he couldn't say enough positive things about the place. They were very professional, honest, and didn't pressure me to a more expensive tire. If you are looking for a place for tires, I would suggest you go and try out the Tire Shop. Thank you for your service. read more

This place was so convenient. I needed to get one tire replaced before I went to work. I came here as soon as they opened. They replaced my tire within like 15 minutes. They only accept cash but the price to replace the one tire was a deal. There is no waiting room, you just kinda hang out outside until the job is done, but that wasn't a problem because it was really quick. read more

good prices, they are very friendly & fast. Have been coming here for yearss Definetly recomend read more

My husbands car said the air was low. So we went by there and got them checked. It was low air and not a leak. He didn't charge us but we gave him some money for his time. Great service and it was and in and out experience read more

Cash only! No credit, no Venmo, etc. There's an ATM next door. Also, call ahead--their hours on Yelp were wrong when I went. I called these guys 15 minutes to closing in hopes that they could fix a flat. They said sure, if you can get here in 5 minutes. I got in 9 minutes before they closed, and despite being busy, they were done 5 minutes later, and they only charged me $5 for the patch. Quick, friendly, and efficient. read more

I've brought my car here twice to change tires. The men here are hardworking, polite, respectful, kind and they are quick! While we waited for them to finished they sat us (me and two kids) gave my kids full size candy bars. They don't overcharge or sell you anything. The only thing about this place is it's very tight and parking is not good but the service is great! read more

Worse service in my life do not recommend. Horrible customer service. Asked to put air pressure and he's going to tell me to reset my tire pressure light and did completely nothing. read more

I had 4 light truck snow tires that needed to be mounted on my 95 Chevy Silverado. Called up TIRE STOP (at 7605 Amherst) and they said "No appointment needed, just bring the vehicle in." (They're open from 730AM to 730 PM) When I arrived (at lunchtime, unfortunately), I found that TIRE STOP shares a building with a mini-market convenience store, so the parking is limited (and on a busy corner of Meadow View). However, not to worry, the guys here motioned me into a spot directly adjacent to their shop and went after my tire job like Santa Ana attacking the Alamo! I was amazed by the speed and efficiency of their crew in taking my tires (I had brought them with me) and mounting them on my vehicle! The charge for all four tires mounted was US$80 (as of 3 Nov 21). The people at this TIRE STOP are good; they know the business, they're fast and they get the job done without wasting your time! I had my truck back and was ready to roll again in quick order! You can trust them to take care of your needs with equal dispatch, also! Be advised, they are a 'cash and carry' business, so bring dollars w/you. If you don't, there is an ATM in the next-door adjacent mini-market, however. I was quite happy with their work and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone! read more

The guys are so nice and quick! I came in bc my rear right tire was leaking. They found a nail and patched up for me free of charge! I wanted to support their business and order tires replacement from them, but unfortunately their company doesn't carry my tire model and size. Overall, highly recommend them! read more

Popped my tire on a curb, meant to call Les Scwab but clicked on this listing instead. Looked at reviews and figured, What's the worst that could happen. Answer: absolutely nothing. Rolled in, and by the time I went next door to grab cash, tire was fixed and I was on my way! Def recommend and def will be back read more

They are always nice. You can get in and out of there on a work break super efficient super fast!

These guys have been helping South Sac since I was hella young. I'm so thankful. They opened another tire spot down the street and they're no help at all! So thankful for the owners of this spot. 5 mins, $5 and I was out. Always bet on them! read more

Was pleasantly surprised with my experience here. Had a flat tire this morning and took my car in expecting to buy a used tire as a temporary replacement. I arrived at 1pm Sunday and there were 4 cars already there. It's located on a corner with a sign and I had no problems finding the place. Service was very friendly and I really appreciated how honest they were. They told me I didn't need a new tire, and showed me 2 spots they could potentially patch on my tire. They finished in about 5 minutes and told me I was only leaking air from one of the spots. Ended up only costing me $10 and I was out in 15 minutes after I parked. read more

I popped my tire on some glass in Meadowview and all my tires were getting pretty low anyway. Went to Tire-Stop the next day at a friend's recommendation. I was in and out in under 30 minutes for about 2/3rds the price of the dealership. They only take cash which may be an issue for some, but good luck getting a better price for great service install on factory new tires with a warranty. I've gone back with family and friends multiple times and always great. I highly recommend. 5/5 read more

These guys are serious about getting the job done and at a great price. They've also helped me with a quick plug for a flat so I could be back on the road in less than 5 minutes read more

Driving down the 5 and must have run over something - noticed the pressure on one of the tires dropping. It was Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend so didn't know what we would find open. I yelped tire repair and this shop came up. I called to confirm they were open and they answered quickly and told me they'd be open til 2:00. It was right off the freeway so pretty convenient. I was a little Leary when we pulled up because it looks pretty fun down but 3 men cane right out to help us. Sure enough, we had something in the tire. They had the tire off, repaired and back on within about 15 minutes and they charged us $20 which I felt was very reasonable. read more

I have been using this place for mount & balance services for my daily driver for quite some time now. I have never purchased any tires from them, so I can't comment on the tires that they carry. These guys are normally great if you want quick and affordable service. However, the lips on all four of my wheels were scratched pretty badly during the tire mounting/unmounting process. If you have steelies or beat-up oem wheels, this might just be the perfect place for you; however, if you care about your wheels, you might want to consider elsewhere. read more

I appreciate these gentleman and their business. They even offered me water as I waited. The price was good as well.

Quick, cheap, and convenient. I popped a tire the night before and went in on a Sunday afternoon. As soon as I pulled up and parked, someone came up to me right away and started working on my car. I was out within 15 minutes. Not much chit chat, but they get the work done. Best deals I've found around the city and they're open 7 days a week. read more

No complaints from me on this one..they always have my tires, they are quick and the prices are good! Nothing like a great neighborhood, local tire shop! Thanks again! Oh they are open 7 days a week @ 8:00am and Sunday @ 10:00am. read more

Tire Stop - Open 7 days a week...lots of stock!! Back on the road again! ! - Tires Near Me - Sacramento, California

Yet again my tire guy came through! Cash is king and this is the tire kingdom you want to be when you need tires. No one beats their prices on a great selection of tires. The long version, I walked in and handed the owner-operator (at least that is who I think he is) a list of tires I was interested in buying: Michelin Premier A/S, Bridgestone Driveguard, or Continental Trucontact. He did not have the tires I wanted, but offered me Hankook Optimo, Toyo Extensa, Goodyear Weatherhandler, and Cooper CS3. I really wanted some Michelins so I started to shopping around online. I found some Michelins available at my other tire place (see review for Advanced Tire Services) and at a tire store in Napa (I was headed out there anyway). The Napa store had them for $60 cheaper than Advanced Tire Services, so I made an appointment to buy and install them (see review for Joe D'Adamo Tire--and others in Napa). Although I went to Napa, because of various mistakes, I ended up driving back to Sacramento without new tires (detailed in other reviews). I really wanted Michelin tires, but read a lot of positive reviews on the Cooper CS3 tires so, I decided to go back to the Tire Stop and purchase them. I called the Tire Stop in the morning and told them I wanted the Cooper tires and that I would stop in around 3 pm. The owner said, "no problem." I showed up around 2:30 pm and had my new tires installed within 20 minutes. They are FAST! I highly recommend the Tire Stop. If they accepted credit cards I would buy all my tires from them because of the incredible savings. This visit I saved over $100. Specifically, I saved $120 compared to Sears for the same tires or $240 for Michelin tires at the Napa store. read more

My dad went in to change 2 of the tires, he never received a receipt and when they were don't they sent him home. That's normal for the most part. What really posed us off is the fact that the tires they "changed" were the tires already on the car. They didn't change absolutely anything. When I went back there with my dad they told us that since we don't have a receipt, which they didn't give us, they couldn't do anything even though they made it clear that they remember my dad. Worse shop ever and at this point I am convinced they buy most of their 5 star reviews. read more

Would recommend, very cheap like new tire and they gave me cold water while i waited. The service was incredible, the staff was extremely personable, and they helped us out when we were in desperate need of a tire. read more

Honest and great and fast service!!! Most shops would charge an arm and a leg or tell you to replace things that is not needed for extra work. But not them! I go here for my tires. They are really friendly and have great customer service. I thought the price for 2 new tires was $130 so they said just come back with the $10 whenever and we will still give you the new tires today. Awesome!
