I just have to share yet another fabulous experience with Main Street automotive in Bandera Texas…read more I'll be honest... my trust in automotive shops was 0.0%, maybe even into the negative numbers. Definitely negative experiences. As a short background, I had a Nissan Xterra that sat for nearly 2 years of my driveway, because no one in Bandera could seem to pinpoint what issues were. I even had one shop tell me to "drive it until the wheels fell off", completely, disregarding the fact that this is my only transportation and my safety, and sometimes life, depend upon it. When I totaled my Ranger, I had been so impressed with the work that Main Street had done on it, that I took a huge leap of faith and put the total money into repairing all the mystery ailments of the Xterra. As a surprise for me, the mystery ailments weren't at all a surprise to Main Street and they fixed it beautifully. I always get my oil changed there as they do a bumper-to-bumper review of everything and I'm telling you these people do not tell you you need something that you don't. They will tell you if they see something that you can expect might need attention so you're not blindsided, unlike the other auto shop. They care about my safety. They did me so right on my Xterra when I was just in the worst spot ever. If you want an auto shop that you can honestly trust, I can't recommend them enough. If you live in Bandera, they are on 16 like you're heading to Medina on your left across from K and M auto. They are open on weekdays. They have quite a number of bays so if you make an oil change appointment with you they get you done quick. My Xterra has 222,000 miles on it. It's running better today than when I bought it at 170,000 miles. Thank you, Main Street!!

I recently purchased a used "Gold certified Toyota." Our local Toyota dealer did a poor job on the inspection. After speaking with customer service they refused to rotate my tires and said I'd have to pay the dealership to do so. My daughter contacted Discount Tire and confirmed that they offer complimentary rotation! Even if you did not purchase the tires from them. I drive with peace of mind knowing that there's a discount tire near by. Any tire issues I just drive up or make an appointment online. My vehicle was ready within 45min as they estimated. Great selection of tires to choose from. If they don't have it. They usually can get it within hours or next day and financing is available on the spot.

AAA gave me the number of a local tow service but that's not what I needed. The gentleman on the phone at the tow service actually recommended Tillman Tire. I called Tillman Tire and the guy on call (this was a holiday weekend on a Saturday) was very nice and ready to help. I wish I remembered his name, but he was there fast and had me back in the road with a brand new trailer tire in no more than an hours time. They call me two hours later to tell me they couldn't get to my vehicle and they didn't know why it was scheduled, there were other people in front of me. Which is their mistake and they should've caught it before I walked out of there. I could've taken my car and had it done in the morning in Boerne or San Antonio at Toyota. Called & reached Jeremy, met him at the shop & was on my way in 30 minutes. About an hour West I had another tire issue. Called again & Jeremy drove out & fixed it in record speed. The truck is well equipted & Jeremy looks like part of a "pit crew" in action. Very pleasant & knows what he's doing. He certainly made the company look good.
