Driving from Willmette, Il took 130 minutes. Robin was very helpful. He had us checked in quickly, then drove us to the Tippecanoe River State Park and dropped us off with tubes and life preservers at the river. Although it was late July and it hadn't rained in some time, the river was still excellent for tubing. It ranged from two to five feet deep and while there were downed trees on the sides, the center was clear. We never had to get out of the tubes and never got hung up. It has a nice leisurely flow and the water was about 75 degrees, very comfortable. The trip took just under three hours, and both me and the kids had a great time.
