My only complaint really is that from the time you order something, it takes a long time to get it; and I'm talking about a ready-made sandwich that they had piles of on the counter. Same goes for getting the check. I love how there's no rush here in Spain but when you're in a rush to get out and it takes so long, it's annoying. The texture was great, browned to perfection and just a little bit of spring to the fish. Pair it with a couple cold beers and you would struggle to find a better lunch. Quantity: Massive portions. Value: Very cheap. Ambiance: El Tostadero is a locals spot in Valencia. The casual shop has a wrap around bar for seating, with food options on display in front of you. They also have a few tables outside. Inside prepare to watch yourself eat and drink in a mirror with music blasting as the workers constantly push out more sandwiches. The inside space is super small, make sure you don't go in rush hours, usually at dinner time is packed. Right away a girl came to take our order and we ask for two 'Tintos de verano' which is a traditional summer cocktail in Spain. The amount was generous and the taste wasreally good. We also order some 'Jamón de Bellota' and 'ensaladilla rusa'. To be honest not the best quality but it was ok. I love foia gras so I asked the chef for a tapa with it. He prepared the most delicious tapa right on the spot. Overall, the staff is super friendly, food is good and price is even better!

It's right on the beach with a beautiful view. The " tabla de jamón ibérico" is incredible and the taste & quality is 10/10.
