The store employee was incredibly rude. I have an 11yo son who is built a little bit bigger than the average 11yo - but that gave him absolutely zero right to hand my son a 3x ADULT shirt and say "here you wear this one." We purchased 4 shirts (roughly $23 a piece) and an $9 magnet - I'm not sure how that ended up being $200 - but maybe shop somewhere else. This place is a rip off. read more

A nice shop located off main street in Helen, Georgia. This location offers shoes, shirts, hats, magnets, stickers, and more. I visited during the summer and it was a great place to shop and cool off. Customer Service was great and attentive and assisted as much as possible. I bought a pair of overalls. I took them home and tried them on they did not work for me . I went back to the store 2 hours later to return. They said they had a no return no refund policy. I said where is it posted. she pointed to a zip strip announcement on the bottom of the cash resister. Barely visible. she also stated that all of Helen has the same policy. I left very angry that this is the rule. I will not spend another dollar in Helen, Ga. I was so upset I did not ask about store credit, but I didn,t want anything else they were offering. I saw a tee shirt in the window I had to have for my granddaughter so I went in to buy one but they were not displayed near the window. I rounded the store as did my sister but neither of us could find any. I went to the window took the shirt with hanger out of the window with one hand ( not a difficult task) . The shop- keep was clearly irritated with the family in front of me whose teen children couldn't decide what they wanted nor the size they wanted so he was eager to help me . I was going to make my quick transaction and get out of his hair and I did but it wasn't without being chastised for taking the shirt off the display. He said I should have asked if I couldn't find it and then huffed and puffed and rolled his eyes at me as he took my $35 and my apologies for the $10 shirt . I still gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought he was teaching the younger 20 something yr old lady possibly his daughter how NOT to treat customers. Do not shop here horrible business practices . I purchased a shirt and after I was told the prices were on the end cap , the price for my shirt was $26.99 . I was charged $32.09 . I asked the gentleman why he charged me as such and he told me larger sizes cost more . I told him this was not what we discussed . He told me no refunds and it was time for me to leave . My daughter and I have been coming up here for the last. I can't say how many years and we always come to tiptop when we're looking for Oktoberfest T-shirts jackets sweaters, whatever. The owner and couple that run this place must be the best sales people on the planet! they are great people wonderful personalities and he will not let me leave unless I get something! He always finds me exactly what I'm looking for when I can't find it but just engaging with them is a joy How can a T-shirt shop be so fun? It's the people. I wish I knew their names and I will get it the next time but you have to go here and find you an Oktoberfest shirt or hippie shirt. Whatever you're looking for lots of volts wagon bus T-shirts sweatshirts Leather goods, knives, other things up at the front counter, but we just love coming in here and spending time with them and happily spending a little money with some people that make your day just that much better! My daughter won't let me buy her very much, and always fights with me on who's going to pay, but we never leave without a memory each year from Helen from the store. What can I say! In this crazy world we live in today these guys know how to make you comfortable how to smile and wear the latest fashions coming from Helen, which is been a staple for North Georgia for the 50 years I've been here just love this place. Rudest employee working when I went to Helen for my first time. He was rude to my husband when he simply asked to look at two different knifes. Then Was rude when a lady had came in trying to find a sweatshirt or hoodie, I heard her say she needed a size XXL and I happened to have one that was right in front of me and I told her there was. The employee said in a rude tone "let me do my job!"and the lady said "she was just trying to help". I was gonna buy something but the employee was rude not once, but twice. So I took my business elsewhere. I understand with the holiday it can be stressful, but there's no need to be rude to a customer. After all, if it wasn't for customers they wouldn't have a job or business. read more

Store was a mess! I found a shirt on the sale rack and was told it was not on sale - would not give me the shirt at sale price.

While visiting Helen I saw a shirt in the window I had to have! I instantly bought it and wore it that day. When we got back to the hotel I noticed a hole in the shirt. The next day I went back to the store and the owner didn't even ask questions and replaced my shirt. He also helped my son and daughter pick out shirts in their sizes. The only negative is that I cannot find their hours anywhere. I saw on one page the open at 10 but when we went it exchange the shirts it wasn't open. They ended up opening before 10:30. read more

If I could post this as zero stars I would. The shop owner is one of the rudest people I have ever met. We bought a souvenir from his shop. Out of the store we took it out of the wrapping and it was broken. I returned it to the store. The owner told me "once you leave my store, it's yours. I didn't make it so it's not my responsibility to replace it." He even tried to accuse me of breaking it. I explained we took it out of the box that way but it did not matter. Every other shop we visited went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Not here!!! I wish I would have caught onto it when we first walked in and not bought anything from him. My hubby and I went into this store last night around 8:50 pm. We asked "Gopi" what time did he close. Very few places are open at that time on a Thursday night. Not only did this precious, affable gentleman help us pick out tees, but NEVER tried to rush out out of there. He heard me refer to my husband as "Jackie" and did not forget that name when we returned there today. My hubby wanted to get an Appalachian Trail type tee! He wanted to buy it from Gopi! Gopi assisted us once more and we chatted again and purchased our 4th tee from him. We had great service from this friendly and jovial gentleman. read more

Met Gopi and he was very nice and had some great Tees and my size too I wear 3XL and he had lots of selections so I'll return to get some tees. Rather high priced but I don't mind because they are made well and very good quality and design !!!! read more

The costumer service provided to us was unreasonable. We are 14 and 15 year old girls who wanted a Helen T-shirt. While in town we decided to stop in the "Tip Top Tees" shop. We walked in (the only people in store) and one of us had a hot chocolate in hand while the other one was looking at a shirt closer. My friend decided to take a closer look at the T-shirt design and it accidently came off the hanger so we both tried to put it back on. The worker decided to come over and check out what we were doing. Next he Proceeded to yank the shower out of our hands and give us a lecture on stealing. He threatened to call the cops and was very rude. My dad went back into the store and handled it (verbally not physically). Never would recommend and obviously never going back!! read more

We visited this shop 3 times in the week of June 18, 2018. We were greeted each time very graciously an treated very respctfully. I have mobility problems an they got me a chair to sit down. Some in our party had size issues an they made us tees. We had9 people in our group ranging in age from 5 -71. The quality of the tees is great an the gift items very well received.I was so pleased with everything that I'm going to order more. I truly appreciate how well I was treated !!! read more
