Having never been to a casino before, I learned how to play Blackjack and had a great time! I stayed away from the machines because I didn't really understand how they worked. My ONLY disappointment was that we had to leave the hotel to eat. None of the restaurants were open and I do wish they'd made that clear when we checked it. I understand now that the restaurant isn't open on Mondays and that's fine, but it would've been nice to have that made clear upon check-in. These employees need a lot more training, and management needs to pay closer attention to how their staff treats customers. If corporate or the CEO wants more people to visit and spend money here like I did, they need to train their employees better and improve customer service. Nobody wants to help when you ask for it.

Pet friendly! I…read moregot referred to his motel by another place that didn't take pets, and I had a large dog and cat with me. We were coming late that night and my options were slim so I was really lucky and happy to find someone there with a room I could get for a few days. Unfortunately my dog got sick so I had to extend my stay another few days but it wasn't at all a problem. And when the owner, a cat lover herself, found out my reason for staying longer, she referred me to a local vet and even kept checking in with me during my stay to see how my pet was doing. My dog didn't make it but I felt very fortunate that there someone who cared in a place where I had no friends or family nearby. The room was fairly large, clean, with easy access to the outside for pet owners. I absolutely recommend it if you're in the area.

I came on a slow night and had the whole entire pre-fab hotel bunkhouse to myself. The room was compact but very nice and inviting. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was simple but nicely outfitted. Lady who checked me in was very friendly and courteous. Would give five stars if they offered some sort of breakfast.
