ELC will have to report them to corporate as I am out of town with a family emergency and they won't even email, with an email they have on file, a zero balance letter so that my daughter can go to a different facility. They removed cameras due to parents calling about children and I have had several emails in 2021 where my daughter was not being cleaned appropriately. STAY AWAY. Email pasted below Crystal To: ruthy@ibkpreschool.com 4/11/22 Phoenix Hello, My name is Crystal lam the parent of Phoenix ...I have contacted previously on the matter that my daughter is not being wiped at all when she uses the restroom. Where dry feces is on her panties on several occasions. And she has not used the restroom at home yet. Again today I wiped her and there was feces in her bottom while she had on a clean diaper that was placed by the school usually if I pack training panties, which I did, she is never sent home in a diaper). This has recently started happening as she was switched to the 3 year old room. Regardless of whether you all are placing my daughter in a diaper or not she should not be having feces in her bottom. I would like to be contacted on this matter as soon as possible as it keeps happening and I would love to know what change has been made other than placing her in a diaper. My phone number is 2. The office is closed at this time which is why I am emailing regarding this matter.

My child come home with more energy, because they sleep all day (2+ hours), sit in front of a television or play outside. VERY LITTLE LEARNING IN PLAY. They charge extra for security camera access but NEVER REPLAY video Incidents. They try to force you to sign incident reports with out corrective actions, or threaten to kick your child out of the program. The Director Ruth is horrible ! All of the staff and teachers are so nurturing and loving! My son has attachment issues to me and always struggles when Mommy has to go to work..:. But he has done so much better with parting ways for the day since he began at Little Village! My favorite thing about this school is that every morning when I drop him off I LITERALLY feel like I'm dropping him off to his Auntie. When Mrs. Nancy welcomes him in the morning with a BIG Auntie hug she also comforts him by telling him that Mommy ALWAYS comes back and he's going to have a fun day! Before he transferred to this school I was constantly worried about him when I was at work but now I can go to work and focus on my job and I know that they will take care of him as if he is their own, and nurture and love him just the way I do. Additionally, and this is a BIG one... at his old school we struggled so hard with potty training. I felt like we kept going in circles with it... again and AGAIN... but AS SOON AS he started at Little Village he was immediately potty trained #1 and is right there with #2. I don't know what their methods are but I do know that they have a special way of connecting with the kids and I think it has to be the bond they form or something because my son trusted them immediately and felt comfortable with them and I know that has to have played a big part in him getting to that place comfort and security when it comes to the toilet. There are 100 other things I love about this school as well. Ill name just a few. It's very clean and orderly and just super adorable on the inside. I loved the different summer activities that they had going on and he brings home such creative/fun projects. He has learned so much in the 2 short months he has been here and his imagination has grown incredibly since he started as well. Lastly and extremely importantly: they have a REALLY good system going for safety and security!!!! They have full control over who comes in and out, which is limited, and have set in place a very safe and clean environment. The other day his hands were sticky when I dropped him off and she informed me the kids all wash their hands as soon as they come inside in the morning. In fact, I used to fight my son to wash his hands and now every time I turn around he's at the sink. Somehow they made him enjoy it. Yay!!! So, he used to be constantly sick at his old school and he hasn't been sick a single time since he started here so those methods are working. Thank you for that!!! In short... I wish I had started him here when he 1st started school a year ago so he could have spent more time with this family he enjoys so much but either way I'm glad we finally landed here and this school is home to us!!!

If I ever have a question or concern she always takes the time out to hear them and address them. She really does treat my girls like her own. If you are looking to enroll your child in preschool this would be the school. I am actually trying to talk one of my friends in enrolling their children here. Anyways, thanks for all that you do, Genoneva. I give this school an A+

Today my 5 year old was told in front of classmates ; he couldn't get on the bus to his aftercare because he was suspended. I had no idea ; his teacher was kind enough to call me, I had to abruptly leave my work about 45 minutes away; stressed because he can't stay at school past 3 PM and knowing he must had felt so sad. When speaking with owner from the aftercare ; I was told that "they decided" my son was suspended for behavior and failed to advise me; so I could make arrangements in advance to get him home safely. After speaking with this school over the phone; I show up and am greeted with "please wait ; you can't go back there yet" (where my 2 year old is). Then she proceeded to give me a bag with my baby's belongings saying "Isaiah can't come back tomorrow either" It's Wednesday and I have no time to make arrangements for someone to watch him while I work tomorrow & Friday. This was clearly retaliation. I was scared at this point and felt very uncomfortable; I went back and had to say an emotional goodbye to my baby's amazing Angel of a teacher we were blessed to have for a short period. The director approached me to inform me if I had questions ; I could contact the owner. This was heartbreaking and humiliating. How can people be so cold; these are children. So sad. So unprofessional and dramatic. This could have been handled in a better way.

Megan and the staff try very hard to keep all parents informed. I've read the previous reviews and every question or concern I've ever had, had it been my son's behavior or a teachers behavior, Megan was always kind and understanding. She is a director of a learning center where there are children with all different types of backgrounds and households. Imagine dealing with people who are teaching their children the wrong things, or who have parents doing the wrong things and they are modeling their parents behavior, and not just one but ALOT. She is very compassionate and does love the children. Imagine how hard we have it as parents of only our children. Imagine trying to help raise over 100 other families children. My kid had a bathroom accident and she even washed his clothes before the end of the day. So having a kid in dirty clothes all day ? My son LOVED his school and until this day still talks about Ms. Megan, Ms. Kathy and Ms. Enid. My kid has ALOT of energy and NEVER EVER did I get a stink eye about him. EVER! I referred this school to a lot of people and never got a complaint. Go and check it out for yourself. I did and was pleased and they helped my kid grow and learn like never before. He's much more advanced then other kids now because of their help. Thank you, Megan! We LOVE you and miss you tons!

As a new parent leaving my baby for the first time, that lack of communication was very concerning. Communication improved after I raised the issue, but other concerns continued. My son was frequently sick while attending, causing him to miss many days and forcing me to miss work. He would get better and then 2 days into daycare, he would get sick again like maybe they aren't dissinfecting the toys as they should. They misplaced his belongings, put another child's blanket on him, and he once came home with a bruise on his forehead that was never explained despite me asking about it. He would cry every day at drop off and I started to become worried that maybe it wasn't just separation anxiety. They were also very sneaky about not letting parents into the back area where the classrooms were and would take oddly long to bring my son to me when I came earlier than usual pick up time, as if they were trying to clean him up quickly. What sealed the deal for me was that on his last day, my mother picked him up, and although it was only her second time ever doing so, staff did not verify that she was authorized for pickup or ask for identification. She actually had to mention it herself. While the director and front desk staff were friendly, I was disappointed by the lack of communication, attention to detail, and overall confidence I felt in my child's care.
