The bar building was closed for indoor gatherings but huge out building bar was open and the huge lawn had picnic tables with umbrellas spaced nicely so you could enjoy tavern. We probably got one of the last open tables because as I looked around after being there for the first beer they were all full. The space is very dog friendly because our party had a dog and a few other tables also and nobody said anything. The beer menu was decent with bottles and cans of various beers from domestic to craft. The food menu was small and included burgers to nachos and an amazing looking ice cream cookie sandwich. Parking can be tough and it's mostly street but I got the last open spot. Over this is a great tavern outdoor space that is way more than just a patio so see my pictures.

My kids enjoyed the pinball machines and the board games they had available, and it was the perfect day to sit outside on the deck. We were thrilled to find out that it is non-smoking out there, because we were able to hang out with our kids out there and just enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. I definitely plan to return post-partum to enjoy some alcoholic beverages at this fun establishment!

It happened to be near the theatre we went to, so we decided to stop in and check it out. They have nearly 775 different types of whiskey to choose from, which is wild! I loved that they offer different ounce sizes so you can sample a few, and they even pair it with water so you stay hydrated while tasting (smart touch). Price ranges between ~$7.50-$20.00+. The place had a cozy, lounge-like vibe and was pretty busy, but the staff was friendly and helpful. It's first come first served for seating, just like any bar. We sampled a few whiskeys and also tried their premade espresso martini. The whiskey selection was phenomenal, the espresso martini was decent, not the best I've had (it was premade), but still enjoyable (it's made with Tito's, which isn't my favorite base, but I appreciate the fresh coffee beans they used). All in all, this place is a hidden gem. Great whiskey, friendly staff, and the perfect cozy spot to escape the rain for a while. I'll definitely be back next time to try even more from their list!

I love the bars I've discovered since I moved to Milwaukee. Most with a classic feel, slightly dim with quirky decor. This bar is no different. There is always something new to check out and explore. It was relatively quiet since we arrived kind of at an off time. but there was a small talkative group of regulars (seemed to be?) at the other end of the bar. The service was somewhat sluggish. The bartender chatted with the regulars and overlooked when we finished our drinks. I never want to be that people who yell at a bartender or is aggressive about having a drink now.
