Everyday, she wakes up so excited to go to school, all 3 of the teachers in the class are not only amazing but my daughter is so comfortable around all of them, and they let her express herself to the fullest. From the sports activites to educational to field trips everything has been so incredible here. It is organized, fun, informative and they will always keep you updated about your kids. They even have my daughter eating foods she had never tried before and now loves! It will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you all so much for caring for our kids like they are your own!

This reassured me that I can easily reach out to them if I had any questions. Even though my son does not start until March 2025, I believe he will be in a safe place. The whole preschool is gated and requires a pin lock to enter. They also use the Procare app to send updates about your child throughout the day. I decided on this preschool mainly due to location. They're about average price compared to others. I'll update this review once my attends and how his experience is. :) I'm sure he will love it.

They have all been absolutely amazing and made such a positive impact on my daughters' early school experience. We will miss Ms. Margaret so much -- she was truly the best and cared so deeply for the children. You can tell she genuinely loved what she did, and we are so grateful my daughters had her as a teacher. The only downside recently has been the switching around of teachers. I do wish there was better communication and introductions regarding who will specifically be working with my child, as consistency and communication are important for parents. Other than that, we've had a really positive experience overall and I'm very grateful for the care and support the school has provided our family. The work feels so important that rather than draining me, it ends up inspiring me. I know I'm modeling for my son what it means to not be a passive observer in an environment but to actively co-create it and tend to it. That is something I want for him as he grows up. This picture is of my son. He can get pretty frustrated by failure. These stilts were VERY difficult for him. Between the teachers and parents we all gave him the space to fail and get angry. He got validation from every adult he interacted with while trying to walk on these. Within 15 minutes he was walking laps around the yard and yelled "I CAN DO HARD THINGS!" Watching him succeed like this reminded me that this school is special and I needed to write this long overdue review!

I fully trust her, and I know that both of my children learned so much thanks to her and the preschool director, Ms. Betty. One of the most valuable things Montessori Way taught my children is the ability to focus on a task. I saw this firsthand when my first daughter started kindergarten during COVID, with school fully online. While many children struggled to concentrate, she was able to stay engaged and work independently--and I truly credit that to her time at Montessori Way. When going to work, our minds were at ease knowing she had excellent care and attention at home. The downside was that at 3 years old, our daughter did not have much opportunity to socialize with other children or stay with an adult other than her grandparents or parents. We were, of course, concerned that the transition to childcare or school might be disastrous. I cannot be more satisfied with our decision to enroll our daughter at the Kinderwood School, San Jose CA. We began with the summer school option, enrolling her in a half day program, 5 days a week when she was 3 years and a few months old. This was the perfect transition for a child who had no experience of staying with other adults outside of family. Her cognitive, social, and emotional progress was visible immediately. That Fall, we enrolled her in a full day program in the 3-year-old class.A year later, and we are still so happy with our experience. Our daughter will be enrolled in the 4-year-old program. While the curriculum and academic expectations are indeed rigorous, the staff is so incredibly loving, caring, and nurturing. The instruction is given in a way that engages the students through music and art. The children genuinely have fun while they learn and appreciate the structure and routine. We are always impressed with the work our daughter brings home. She is only 4 and can print her name, blend letters to phonetically read and write 3-4 letter words, add and subtract numbers, and so much more. Her experience is not unique as most if not all the students in her class can do the same.On top of this, every staff member from the administration, secretarial staff and teachers are excellent. I feel as though I am leaving my child with family. This is an incredibly important feature to me as I need to feel as though I am leaving my daughter in loving and capable hands when I drop her off to go to work. We have bonded with a number of parents from her class and get together for the kid's birthday parties and other social events like Petting animals, field trips etc.I cannot imagine a better place for our child.

He attended her preschool for 2 years prior to kindergarten. The spring of his last year Covid hit and he missed all of the last year activities like his graduation. During the summer, Miss Donna and Miss Daisy safely came to each student's home and dropped off their graduation items and preschool mementos! He was so happy to be able to see them again Fast forward 3 years and his baby sister is now with Miss Donna and she is thriving. All the teachers/carers are incredibly kind and thoughtful. Everyone genuinely cares about your kid. They work hard to keep the environment safe and happy for everyone. My son had some speech difficulties, but he has since been catching up under the tutelage of the amazing folks here. My daughter transitioned so easily from being at home with me, to being in the care of the loving infant room folks. Teacher turnover is very low, which says a lot about the environment being cultivated at this Tulip Kids. I love seeing the owner there every day too!
