Our family could not say enough great things about the staff at Tiny Giants Infant Center. From the responsiveness of the director, Ileana, to the chef in the kitchen (making the food my son loves to eat), to the floater teachers, teachers and lead teachers, they are all SUCH WONDERFUL, HAPPY TO BE THERE, HARDWORKING PEOPLE. Sending your child off to daycare is hard to do, but when you know that the baby is happy, cared for, treated well and loved, is so worth it. When my son started at 6 months, he wouldn't eat his bottle like a normal baby... He had to be laying on a pillow getting sung to, or held a weird way to eat - and these teachers would do everything they could to get him to drink those bottles! Ms. Yuri in the Kiwi room really had a special knack with him, helping him to finish off his bottles. They help with age appropriate transitions and weening, as well as introducing solid foods. Everyone works at the pace you want to go. I just think this place is the best, and I will be sad to leave when my son transitions to the toddler facility. :( read more

Our son has been a student at the Tiny Giants Infant Center for the past year and has thrived. Every morning we drop him off with a big smile on his face as he darts off to sit in a teacher's lap or play with his favorite toy. I feel good knowing he spends his days in excellent hands where he is able to learn and grow. We also appreciate how Tiny Giants has cultivated his love of music, as music day with Mr. Ray is now the highlight of his week! I'm beyond happy with our decision to enroll our son in the infant center. He started when he was 3 months old, and as an anxious first time mom I was so nervous to leave my baby with anyone. The staff went above and beyond to keep me settled through the transition. My son took quickly to the staff and 12 months later he's running to give them hugs. We loved our time at Tiny Giants for our daughter. She started right away around 12 weeks and is due to transition to Uptown's toddler program soon. Without really knowing what to expect with a daycare, we were blown away by the robust curriculum and enrichment. They are experts on child development, and helped us move through transitions and milestones. Our daughter has ongoing PT/OT care and Tiny Giants seamlessly adapted to her needs and took accommodations in stride. We have said over and over it's worth every penny. The app updates are super helpful and we love sharing the photos and videos with family members. She has made countless art projects, had great socialization with her peers and teachers, and was showered with love. Her favorite day of the week was definitely when Mr. Ray visits with his guitar! After a year at home with my son, I was an absolute wreck at the thought of sending him to daycare! Between the rave reviews I had seen mentioned in some mommy groups and a recommendation from close friends, we decided to put our name on a waitlist with Tiny Giants. When a spot opened for us, the timing was like divine intervention with a nanny share opportunity having just fallen through! Before we even started at the center, Ms Ileana answered every question we had with endless patience. She is a true saint! Once he started, the teachers were no different. It was a hard transition for all of us and every single person was so gentle, compassionate, supportive, and loving. They set goals, but still adapted to our son's needs and truly fostered a safe environment for him to grow. And boy, did he grow!!! It still amazes me how much he learned while he was in their care. I could tell he made genuine connections with the teachers (even teachers in other rooms) and once it was time for him to transition to the toddler room we were all very sad to leave. A year ago, I could have never imagined that I would feel so comfortable and at peace with our decision to send our son to daycare, but seeing the activities he is doing and his pure joy during the day through the updates on the app lets me know that it was unquestionably the right decision! We love Tiny Giants! Our son attended Tiny Giants Infant Center from 4 months until moving to the Uptown Center earlier this summer. He loved his teachers and grew so much. They send pictures throughout the day, raise any issues/concerns promptly and make sure there's a lot of different activities each week. While I knew my son was getting a great start to his education, the teachers themselves are also top notch. We've had our son at TG Infant Center since July 2022, and we've been so happy with the experience. Finding a daycare is nerve-wracking, and many daycares that we inquired with were slow or never responded to our correspondence. Tiny Giants was responsive and helpful with information for prospective families, which was a good sign. We were excited to get a spot off the wait list, although due to COVID restrictions, we hadn't been able to see the inside of the center or meet staff. To help soothe my new mom nerves, staff organized a zoom call on short notice to introduce me to one of the teachers in my son's classroom and answer any questions I had before our first day; it was a thoughtful touch that meant a lot. In the 8 months we've been at the infant center, it's clear that our son loves his classroom and his teachers. Staff care deeply about the babies's welfare, happiness, and development, and we get updates about his developmental progress through the Tadpoles app and at pick up. The school even hosts events on weekends every few months for the families; this effort really goes above and beyond, and it reflects the intention to build community among the families. Additionally, our son was diagnosed with multiple food allergies in December. As soon as we notified staff, an emergency action plan was created and we were provided with a copy. As our son has transitioned to purees and then solids, there has been proactive communication to help ensure he will not end up with food that will make him sick. We've been very satisfied with the care, professionalism, and operations, and we're thankful to be a part of the community. read more

Tiny Giants Infant Center is, dollar for dollar, the best daycare in the area. We considered a nanny, and toured at least three other daycares in our neighborhood - nearly all of which were +10% more expensive. Against all these options, TG has completely overdelivered. Our daughter started in the Cubs room at 6 months old, and has absolutely thrived in the care of Ms Stephanie, Ms Montse and Ms Emily, who have been indispensable in helping guide her through her early milestones. We are consistently surprised by how much she has learned and developed in their care. The running joke in our household is that the teachers at TG need to slow down so we can catch up. The honest truth behind the joke is that Ms Ileana & the TG team have been an invaluable support to us as new parents. Our daughter loves the planned activities (arts & crafts, music, outdoor walks) and has really benefitted from the socialization with other kids her age. The teachers are wonderful and organized. Even the little children have structured learning throughout the day. Parents get detailed lesson plans, food menus and lots of pictures/videos. Any new parent knows that it is extremely daunting and stressful not only to think about leaving your newborn at a new place, but it's very hard to find that place to begin with! I am so thankful that my wife and I found Tiny Giants and were able to secure a spot for our daughter. We visited four potential spots for our daughter in the city, and Tiny Giants was hands down the best on all fronts. Their facility is very well clean and maintained. The entire staff are welcoming and approachable. As a new dad, I have questions for them every day, and they've never been anything but kind and reassuring. Our daughter started in the kiwi room as a 4 month old. From the get go, the staff at Tiny Giants have welcomed us and guided us as new parents. Our daughter is always at ease there, and she's even begun smiling at some of her teachers! The Tadpoles app the school utilizes to communicate with parents is great. Sure it would be great to be a stay at home parent but, you know, life happens. Tiny Giants is a wonderful space that has been a tremendous asset to our week. Our little one is happy to see her teachers and classmates everyday. It is difficult for any parent to leave their child in the care of others but when I see the smile on her face when we walk into her classroom it makes it easier. Music, Art, playtime with mites her size surrounded by teachers and staff that truly care about the children in their care. Added bonus is their app that they have where they share sleep/eat/change information in real time plus photos of your child at different points of the day. Selecting a daycare is very overwhelming, emotional and scary. However, I cannot say enough how wonderful Tiny Giants Infant Center is--truly the best! When my maternity leave ended, I had a difficult time leaving my daughter, returning to work, and handing her off to be cared for by someone else; however, TGs made it easier and less stressful from day one. The program director and teachers genuinely care for others--several of them asked me on a regular basis how I was doing with the transition. That meant so much to me! Tiny Giants Infant Center is well-managed, clean, organized; and the staff are professional, invested in the children and truly enjoy what they do. (They all deserve raises/bonuses!!) I appreciate the attention to detail regarding their cleaning processes and preventing the spread of illnesses, as well as promptly communicating with me/my husband when needed (whether it is via email from Ms. Ileana, phone call or in the Tadpoles app). Also, each month, they celebrate a different core value (ie. spreading kindness, meaningful connections, neighborly pride, elevated care, inspiring leadership), share examples and planned opportunities within the community, and even incorporate it into the classes' monthly activities. How neat is that! They also have different projects each week for the kiddos (we love the artwork she brings home) and take them on walks when the weather allows! My daughter has been going to TGs full-time, since November 2022 (at 4 months old), and she is thriving. At drop off, she always smiles and is happy to see her teachers and friends. My husband and I feel she is safe, well cared for, attended to, has a wonderful time, and actually learns something while there! She also loves Mr. Ray's music class . We have been sending our daughter to the Tiny Giants Infant Center (Seahorse Room) from the age of 6 months to currently, 14 months. We know firsthand how difficult and emotional leaving your baby in the care of others can be, but we consider ourselves SO lucky to have landed at Tiny Giants. We had considered hiring a nanny when I returned to work, but chose to go with TG thanks to several personal recommendations, and we could not be more happy with our decision. The TG staff that was once strangers, are now considered part of our Chicago family and a KEY part of our family's "village". Given our overwhelmingly positive experience, we plan to stay in the Tiny Giants facility family when our daughter ages out of the current center and we only hope that the next center can live up to the amazing infant center! As a primary school teacher, I believe that I hold high standards for the care, attention, and enrichment that my daughter receives, as well as the center-to-parent communication. Our family has been thoroughly impressed and truly overjoyed with the care, communication and thoughtfulness we've received while she's attended their center. Moreover, our daughter is ahead on all of her milestones thanks in large part to the daily care and socialization she receives at Tiny Giants. The teachers and administrators are professional, reliable, responsive, and so invested in the well-being of their students. They all seem genuinely happy to be doing such important and demanding work with little ones. Our daughter is certainly not an "easy baby" but their staff welcomes her with open arms and celebrates what makes her individual and special. Their staff worked with our daughter and tried different strategies to help her accept a bottle. Thanks to their help and creativity, she came around to it within a few days. A few other thoughts/considerations: -We continued to follow up via phone call with the TG Infant Center office in the months and weeks leading up to my return to work in order to underscore our interest and ensure a spot. -Quality daycare is an investment, but a worthwhile one in our minds. We find their prices, hours, and holiday schedule to be very fair. -Our daughter wasn't on a strict schedule when we started her at the facility. TG got her up and running on a more consistent schedule, while responding to her cues, and she thrives on it. -Tiny Giants uses the Tadpoles app which keeps families in the loop throughout the school day with pictures and updates on meals, bottles, bathroom, and sleep. We love checking the app throughout the day and seeing pictures of our daughter socializing and exploring. -As an only child, we love how our daughter gets so much interaction with children of other ages. She now loves to hug and interact with other babies thanks to her happy experiences at daycare. -We are continually impressed by how much enrichment TG does with the little ones - walks outside, picnics, arts and crafts, sensory play, books, gross and fine motor work - even music lessons with Mr. Ray! -When the weather is nice, they often take the children out on walks for fresh air. They always apply sunscreen and put on her sunhat. -They have fun optional theme dress up days for the students and teachers. They take the cutest pictures! -Our daughter is generally a good eater but starting to exhibit some signs of pickiness. We thank TG for offering her a wide variety of healthy foods each day. We are thrilled that the Tiny Giants Infant Center welcomed us into their family! Tiny Giants was the only school from three daycares to keep us in the loop about our waitlist status before we needed care. The others didn't reply at all, or replied only a few days before our start date. But lucky us! Our daughter is thriving in the care of her compassionate and fun-loving Tiny Giants teachers. Our daughter's teachers and the Infant Center's Director are communicative and responsive. There have been weeks when I've sent four or five different emails with questions, and I always get a prompt reply from Ms. Ileana, the Center's Director. Our daughter is thrilled to greet her teachers when she arrives each morning, and we've seen her learn so many things -- songs, sign language, and words we haven't taught her -- all because of her teachers and the Infant Center's programming. We are absolutely thrilled with our daughter's experience at Tiny Giants! The staff is incredibly communicative, the classroom is an amazing environment, and it truly feels like a family! We are very happy with Tiny Giants. They hire well and we've had very positive experiences with all of our son's teachers. We get pictures and updates on food/bathroom/sleep throughout the day via an app. Our son does speech therapy, and therapists visit him there during the day (which they are very accommodating of). Multiple therapists have told us what a great and clean facility it is and how the teachers are really engaged. After looking at our options (daycare vs nanny, reviewing different daycares, etc.), my husband and I are so happy with TG and know that this was the best decision we ever made for our son. With the pandemic, I am so happy he is able to get out of the house and safely be around other children and adults. They have been so accommodating with us and the communication is excellent (the app and emails with staff). Our son gets so happy when he is getting ready for "school" which makes us so happy. We are big fans of Tiny Giants Infant center. Our baby has been going for 2 months now and we have very impressed with the daycare. His teachers (Ms. Aylin, Ms Salem, Ms Tati, Ms Eden, Ms Blanca) are all wonderful and so loving with him and the other babies. They give us updates throughout the day and provide a quick recap at the end of the day too when we pick him up. The first week, our baby had a bit of trouble adjusting to the new routine (and stranger danger!) and they made sure to make him comfortable. Within a few days, he was pushing away from us at drop-off to get into his classroom sooner :) It's a huge relief for us, knowing that our little one is safe and happy at daycare and we're so glad to have chosen Tiny Giants Infant center. Our family has been in the Tiny Giants orbit for almost four years now and there are very good reasons why we entrust the care of both of our daughters (four years old and 11 months) to the TG team. Baseline, the school was incredibly communicative and careful during early COVID (after things started to reopen a little). I don't know how they managed it, but they kept families and staff informed and clarified their decisions and kept people accountable. We are so grateful for that. The school continues to be communicative about weekly lesson plans, upcoming events, and daily updates on our daughters' days. Everyone is paying attention and the kids and parents can tell. Finally, we can't say enough for how wonderful all of the teachers and staff are. Our son has been at the Infant Learning Center since he was five months old, and he started during the pandemic. TG has been communicative, flexible, and compassionate on the "business" end; the helped us navigate a changing start date, and explained everything really well. From the childcare perspective, as a special education teacher myself, I have been 100% pleased - overjoyed, really! - with every element of Tiny Giants. Even for babies, they share weekly lessons plans and activities. The teachers are engaged and creative. Our son greets them every day with a smile, and the photos shared on the app (5-7 daily, on average) confirm that he is happy, safe, and incredibly well taken care of. It's also an awesome perk to have formula/food included in the tuition. The time it saves us to not have to wash bottles or pack food is invaluable and something I didn't know would be such a big perk. Lastly - we moved to the suburbs during all of this, too. We looked at other daycares there, and just never got the the feeling that they could compete with the experience we are having at Tiny Giants. Our daughter started at the Tiny Giants Infant Center when they first opened in March 2017. Dropping off your 3 month old and leaving them in someone else's care can be very anxiety provoking...However, thanks to the staff at TG Infant Center, we had a wonderful transition from Day 1! Ms. Katie, the Director, was extremely accommodating and informative from the start. The teachers (we were in the Cubs room), are knowledgeable and provided excellent care, easing our nerves! They truly love the children that come through their doors and do everything they can to make the class feel like a family! Our daughter enjoyed participating in weekly music class, art projects, and took her first steps thanks to the teachers working with her! Organic formula and organic purees are included, as was a full breakfast, lunch, and snack when she was old enough to begin eating meals. The facility is extremely clean (preventing any illnesses from spreading!) and teacher turnover is very low. All daily happenings are tracked on an app, as well as photos and videos throughout the day! A year later, today was our daughter's last day at the Infant Center, as she moves up to Tiny Giants Early Learning Center- Uptown. We will miss the teachers, who truly feel like family! We just started sending our son to Tiny Giants at the beginning of August at 3 months old exactly. We have seen tremendous growth and development in the 2 months he's been with Tiny Giants. He ADORES his teachers and Ms Salem is always so happy to see him in the mornings, she gives him a big squeeze every time she sees him. And he is always so happy to see her! When we pick him up, he could care less about me, he's so busy staring at his teachers as if I don't even exist. Overall we are satisfied with how Tiny Giants is being run, we get a calendar at the start of every month. Ms Ileana, the Director, is great about responding to emails if you ever have any questions or concerns. They use an app where you can see all the activity going on throughout the day (naps, feedings, diaper changes, and pictures and videos)!! They do Music with Mr Ray and go out for walks and all kinds of art. They get read to and you can tell the teachers love what they do! This review is overdue as my son graduated out of the infant center a couple months ago but we were so incredibly happy with our experience there and specifically in the Kiwi room with Ms Clarissa, Ms Lupe, and Ms Salem! They truly seemed to care for my son like he was their own. I credit them with him being able to use sign language and for bringing our attention to some development things that he was slow to pick up so we could help encourage him. The center also did a great job with COVID procedures and kept everyone safe during a truly scary time. I would (and have!) recommended them to anyone looking for childcare in the area. read more

Having to leave our 12-week son in childcare for the first time - during the middle of a pandemic, no less - was incredibly daunting. However, the Infant Center team soon became like family. We love Tiny Giants! We started in September 2018 when our daughter was 6 months old, and have been really happy since day one. The teachers obviously love babies and take such good care of them; there are rarely tears at dropoff and always big smiles at pickup. Our daughter is not the world's best napper and they've been super patient with her sleep, have helped her transition from bottles to purées to table food and stimulate her in ways we don't even think of (so many cute art projects!). She has had the battery of ear infections and colds being around so many other kids, but the facility is super clean and well-run. They paint with her, have music classes on Wednesday, do a ton of sensory exploration activities, go for walks, cuddle her - the list goes on! We are kept up to date on everything that is going on daily (bottles, naps, diapers and pictures/videos) through their app which is so nice. As first time parents, having our daughter at the Tiny Giant Infant Center has been such a great experience. The school does a great job communicating with families. From changes in safety policy due to COVID or other seasonal matters, sharing community updates on daily/weekly themes for the curriculum, all the way down to the way payment is handled. As a parent, it can be hard to trust someone else with your child. This school's tech-enabled approach, leveraging an app that tracks things like feeding, naps, daily activities, etc., will give you peace of mind and transparency into your child's day. We have had nothing but positive experiences with the classroom teachers, who we witness treating children with the same care as they would their own. I honestly can't say enough good things about Tiny Giants. My husband and I had always noticed this place since we live a stone's throw away and it was the first place we checked out when we found out we were expecting. I was very impressed with the facility as the babies all looked happy and attended to and the teachers did not look overwhelmed in the slightest. The director's daughter was in the infant room at the time and I knew that if the employees at the day care were leaving their own children there, it must be a great place we can trust. We actually ended up not touring any other facilities as this was really the only place we wanted to send our son. He started when he was just 12 weeks old at the end of my maternity leave and now at almost 8 months he really loves it! He is all smiles when I drop him off and all smiles when I pick him up. I love seeing him so excited and kicking his little legs whenever he sees his teachers. I know his day is full of activities because of the constant updates throughout the day (photos and videos), and I honestly struggle to keep him entertained over the weekend because he is used to so much stimulation. I truly believe they entertain him better than I ever could if I stayed at home, and I never feel like I am "compromising" his care in any way by sending him there, which is EXACTLY how you want to feel when you send your kid to day care. They update his feed/sleep/diaper schedule throughout the day and the cost of formula is included in the price. They also make fresh baby food in house and get hot lunches catered for the older babies. I couldn't ask for a better place to send our son - and believe me when I say I did my research and I couldn't find a place that offered the same amenities for the price. WE LOVE TINY GIANTS! Our daughter started in the infant center in June. She was 5 months old when she started, and she has flourished since being there. I am able to check on her throughout the day through an app on my phone, and she is living her best life! The teachers in her room provide care and love to her which makes me feel so comfortable with our decision to send her here. As we were searching for full-time infant care, a few things stood out to us about Tiny Giants. One, we liked that they have curriculum but there is freedom within a child's day for them to be a child. We felt it was a good balance between other centers that provided very regimented structure or very open, unstructured play. The curriculum is age and developmentally appropriate, and the teachers are great at adapting curriculum to meet the child where they are at developmentally. Additionally, they have weekly music time as part of their curriculum. Two, our daughter started with she was 5 months old and just turned 8 months old. She has gone through lots of transitions and hit many milestones in just three short months. The staff at Tiny Giants has been so helpful with adjusting her schedule to meet her needs. She's our first baby, so their suggestions have been really helpful as well! Three, the location is great for us. We live on the border of Uptown/Edgewater/Andersonville, and my husband and I do not have a car. We use public transportation, so ease of accessibility was important to us. The center is located right off of the 22 and 78 bus lines or a short walk from the Redline. Drop off is super convenient for my husband, and I come from Loyola to do pick up. It takes me less than 35 minutes to get there. They also have a space for us to leave our stroller throughout the day. Finally, our daughter is biracial and it was really important to my husband and I that our baby was surrounded by people who look like her and people who don't look like her. We have been so happy with all of the families from different walks of life who we've been able to meet because of Tiny Giants. We love that our daughter is making friends with lots of kids, and that the staff provides her with different perspectives as well! read more

I rarely write reviews, but feel compelled to by how much I love Tiny Giants. Our daughter was at the infant center from age 3 to 16 months. The teachers are so wonderful, and genuinely care so much about their babies (also there very little turnover- we had 2 main teachers her entire 13 months there!). After 13 months, they really feel like family. Ms. Katie, the director, is wonderful as well. The program is educational, providing weekly activities and themes in the domains of motor, language, social-emotional, art, music, and more- even at a young age. The teachers taught our daughter so much, from walking with a push toy, to her first words, to learning body parts, to playing nicely with others. You also get updates throughout the day including photos, meals, diaper changes, and naps via the tadpoles app. Also, the cost is on the lower side compared with daycares in the area and includes meals, milk, and formula. In sum, I cannot recommend TG highly enough. We will miss our TG family! read more
