Having been part of customer service work all my life, I know how hard it is to be in a service only business. I met these folks at an event we were mutually working, and I got to know them from that event and have had the pleasure of working with them a few times since. We all know that customer service, especially in today's social media/pitch fork nation age, is extremely difficult. Everyone is looking for a reason to complain, act offended, get something for free, or prove they are an Internet "tough guy". Not nearly enough people are looking for things to compliment people on. Why do I say this? Simple. After the one event I worked where a few people of this company were at, a friend of mine's 5 year old daughter was diagnosed with cancer. At the time, all we knew was that it was very treatable (and has since been cured for her). But, explain to a 5 year old how she is going to look sick and be tired all the time. That she is going to lose her hair from the treatment. The hair thing was her biggest fear, and it really stressed her out. Her favorite princess was Elsa, and she was growing her hair long to have hair just like Elsa, but now, that was not going to happen. This is when it hit me. I knew these wonderful people that did performances as princesses, so I contacted them. When I explained to one of the owners that I knew, exactly what was going on, she stopped me and basically said "where do you need me and what time?" I said we haven't even talked price yet and she followed that up with "and we're not going to. Just tell me when and where I need to be." We talked some more and decided together that since hair was such a huge issue for the 5 year old, the owner was going to bring an Elsa wig for her, and teach her how to care for it, put it on, etc. The day came and when Elsa walked through the door, the look on the newly turned 6 year old little girls face was priceless. Chemo had been kicking her butt. She was crabby, tired and didn't want to be around anyone, until Elsa. Elsa spent an hour with her and the few others that were there. AN HOUR of her own personal time to make this little girl feel special and strong. To reinvigorate a strange 6 year old and her family. The adults had tears of joy from that hour and what it meant to her. They read stories, played, did stuff with the wig. It was incredible. All this because it was the right thing to do for a little girl. No press coverage, no money, nothing. read more

I have 2 daughters under 5 who have a congenital disorder- each day that goes by is a blessing and a challenge for us, each year we are thankful and really love to make their birthdays extra special. My mom decided to surprise us with a special visit from my daughters favorite princess, Cinderella. We struggle financially so it was way above something we could do for ourselves. When my mom called out to Tiny Diva Princess Party she was so happy that she could no longer wait to "surprise" me with the news!! Tiny Diva's owner actually called her back personally and after hearing our story, she offered to gift it for free! We were over- joyed and humbled that they would do this for us, we live out in the country (an hour away from their location)- they provided gifts for both of my daughters, treat bags for the other kids and even tiara's to crown our girls as honorary princesses! It was our most amazing day ever, we will cherish it for years to come and cannot express our gratitude enough for making this day so special for our family. Cinderella was amazing, so kind and compassionate and totally into the experience, she made our daughter feel so special on her birthday... and made all of the kids feel special. What an amazing organization! Dawn and her team provide the most amazing experience to young children - princes and princesses - giving them an experience they will cherish for years to come. I had the opportunity to work with Dawn and her talented team on a full-day event at the Eagan Community Center where some 200 children were entertained in three different groups. Each group of children were given a 90 minute show with about 30 minutes in between each show. Seeing them interact with the kids and their parents over the course of more than six hours, I had an excellent opportunity to view several of the Tiny Diva Princess Party team under the pressure of putting on their show. All I can say is: Amazing! Every time my grandchildren visit the Twin Cities, one of the first things I do is check on the Tiny Diva Princess Party schedule to find out where we can see them. We booked Tiny Diva Princess Party for my daughter's birthday for the SECOND year in a ROW! Last year it was Elsa, this year our princess wanted The Little Mermaid to come celebrate with her. Both experiences were incredible. I really appreciate how the actors engage with our daughter and her guests. They really take the pressure of entertaining off me for a bit--so I was able to just sit back and enjoy the party WITH my daughter (rather than stressing over what games to play, etc.). Plus the look on my daughters face when the princess arrives is worth every penny! We have followed Tiny Diva Princess Party & have attending some of their special events (we went on the boat cruise & the winter ball) I felt like we were at a Disney Show-very entertaining! I have had Tiny Diva princess party do 3 of my daughters birthday parties... each one has been totally different and each was stellar!! The last one we did was a"Diva" limo party- as my daughter is a teenager now, the limo provided door to door service, they brought us to the events location in Eagan where the girls got to have a spa make-over and "Diva" party that was soo much fun for the girls!! It was the hit of the year for all of the girls... Tiny Diva's provided everything and actually took care of all of the details for us! As an added bonus, the "party moms'" got to go out for lunch in style with the limo... we felt like rockstars as much as our girls did!! It was such a big hit and an experience we will never forget! I live in northern MN we don't have a lot of party options up here. I contacted Tiny Divas and we planed my daughter's birthday. They traveled to our home town. Now keep in mind my daughter is into racing and I wasn't sure if this was going to be a hit. However after talking things over with the planner I felt comfortable that things would turn out. Some children like some activities better then others. That's true with anything. When the party was done none of the kids wanted to leave. They wanted to stay with the princess. Even my race loving little girl couldn't hide her smile. (Her- mom all girls are princess right just like Belle) if I could I'd throw a princess party for all 9 of my nieces.
