The empty hole in my Jeep where my stereo belongs.
    Diana N.

EDIT after store response: The repair center acknowledged the condensation, not water damage, as well as the fact that is was not installed to protect from AC. In fact, I shared this with Steve. You talked to me ONCE, at the beginning of April. How about the 3 other calls I left you, or the email I sent, that you didn't respond to? I missed ONE appointment with you, on 8/22 to reinstall my radio. At this point, I had already been waiting 4 weeks for my stereo, and 10 days of that was Steve telling me it was done, but he didn't have time to pick it up. HE DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO PICK UP A RADIO FOR AN EXISTING CUSTOMER, AND I WAITED 10 ADDITIONAL DAYS FOR MY RADIO, to then find out you wanted to charge me to reinstall the repeat repair. I didn't intend to miss the appointment, but I also couldn't wait for another time for Steve to be "un-busy" enough to pick up my completed repair. What about Steve forgetting to call me back for 2 weeks? What about him telling me he couldn't pick up my radio for a week because he had other customers with appointments? I was ALREADY a customer; not new to your business. I didn't ask him to prioritize me, but to pickup my radio when it was done. Please don't come at me with your suggestion that you were trying to help. That you made multiple offers. You didn't help. And you didn't try. And you SURELY didn't offer options, other than me spending another $1000+ for a new radio to replace the one I had bought 15 months earlier. You offered to send it off to the repair center and share the cost with me, and you DID NOT. Your service sucks, and so does your response. ---------------------------------------------------- This is what my stereo looks like after a $2,000 install from Tint World. Won't ever go back and you shouldn't, either. Also be aware - all the positive reviews are from their previous staff, JC and Ray, not their current staff. Yesterday, I walked out of their business without having my stereo reinstalled, after 4 months of going round and round with them to repair my non-functioning stereo system. They removed my stereo July 24 for the second time, and the store guy, Steve, was "too busy" (his words) to go get it for me when the second repair was completed. I was having multiple issues with the radio shutting off within my 1-year warranty, but took it to them after the warranty expired in January (didn't realize that). Showed them pics of what was happening. After pleading my case because the issues happened in warranty, the owner, Michelle, offered to "work with me on the repair cost", so long as it wasn't water damaged. Well, of course they came back and said it was, even though the repair technician told me it wasn't. He suggested it could have been from the AC vent (condensation). They replaced the logic board, so they said. I paid $139 to have it "repaired", after she offered to help cover the cost, but didn't. One month later, I had to have it removed again for the same issue. I went to the store and Steve let me know that he would have to call the repair shop and get back to me. When I called him two weeks later for follow up, he said, "oh yeah, I forgot about you. Bring it by and we'll have to send it back in". So I did, and they removed it and sent off for "repair" for a second time (within the 90-day warranty Steve told me I had). So Wednesday I go to get it installed, and Steve won't install it because I didn't have an appointment. Not only that, but while I sat in their store, he helped two customer that walked in after me and wouldn't even make eye contact with me. They also have a sign outside that says, "No Mask, No Service" , yet he proceeded to help two customers in front of me without masks. No mention of them not wearing them at all. I make an appt, go back yesterday for reinstall, and they want to charge me $69 to reinstall the radio they had to remove to repair. Their claim, spoken by the owner, Michelle, is that they're "trying to help me" with a water-damaged radio, even though the repair technician told me it wasn't water damaged. Their suggestion is that because I have a Jeep where I can remove the top, it has to have been rained on. Another "firmware" update to my non-working radio, yet again. I haven't even been able to see whether it works now, because I wasn't paying them another dime for my system. My recommendation is that you DO NOT use Tint World, ever. The owners, Michelle and Todd, haven't returned my calls. I asked Steve yesterday to call her while I was there so I could speak to her, and she was "too busy" to speak to me. I heard her on the phone tell him that. What cowards. Don't bother responding here, Michelle, if you can't pick up the phone and actually talk to your customers. Your business offers poor customer service and your team is RUDE. As long as you allow this type of service, I'll be sure everyone I know - in the Jeep and Harley communities, and otherwise - know not to use your services.

I submitted a request for a quote online. They sent me a text with a few questions. He got me in the same day. Super friendly, helpful, explained their service, products, warranty, etc. 1.5 hours and I was tinted. Great job guys.

I'm one of those older chicks who still can't give up three pedals however I have a dry eye situation that warranted making my ride look badder. I chose tint world based on yelp reviews and I wasn't let down. They did an outstanding job with the tint. It cuts the heat in my car considerably allowing me to use less air. The reduction in burning sun and air blowing made my eyes much more comfortable and gee my Z really did look sweeter with the tint. Probably the only Sending Peaceful Z with a dog car seat in the front and when my furry homey is riding with me and her window is naturally down a bit we certainly gets smiles. Thank you tint world for treating me like family from the front desk to out the door and the bonus: a discount on and amazing detail job. Now I actually want to keep it up.

***SCAM ALERT*** This review should come as a warning to all…read morewho are looking to get work done by Amplified Autosports. I had selected this place based on a referral from a Automotive Lighting website who has this business listed as an installer for their lights. After making a 2nd appointment, the first one not being honored due to shop staff issues (understandable), I took my car in to get the Daylight Running Lights replaced inside the headlight housing, fog lights to be installed (easier to get to when the bumper/headlight housing is off) and new high beams (require the removal of the headlight to replace). The appointment was set around noon so that I could drop the car off during my lunch break at work. Prior to me signing off on the work, I wanted to speak to the owner about the warranty/guarantees that are included with the work as my car is a newer car (less than 1 year old/less than 12k miles and still covered by bumper-bumper warranty). I was advised that the work comes with a lifetime guarantee, on the work performed not if it gets hit by a rock or in an accident. Great! That shows me you stand behind your work and that I can expect great things. I continued the check in process where I walk around the car with the office manager who didn't note anything wrong on the car and left. A couple hours later an email is sent by the owner (while I am at work) stating that visible evidence of moisture is observed inside the headlights. Because there is evidence that there was moisture/liquid inside the headlights there will be no warranty on the work. Pictures of scratches on the bumper (from regular driving) are attached as well as pictures of the headlight in which the moisture/liquid are located. He also invites me to come see the moisture damage in person as it might be hard to see in the pictures, which it was as I couldn't tell. As soon as I got off work, I checked my email, looked through the attached pictures and called the business. I stated that since the work wouldn't be covered under their warranty, I would take the car back to the dealership to get the damage fixed under the bumper-bumper warranty before getting the work done so that I am covered. I verified that the damage is visible from the outside so that I could show the dealership easily which was confirmed. The owner told me that he would have the car ready for me the next day to pick up which I told him I'd be by once again over lunch. I figured this was to remove the tape that was visible in the pictures and since it was close to closing time. When I went the next day to pick up the car, I asked the office manager to see the car and to see the damage that was stated the day prior. We walk outside and the office manager says that you can't see the damage because it is inside and you would have to take it all apart to see the damage (drastically different from what the owner told me the day before). So I asked to speak to the owner as he told me differently. The owner comes outside with a flashlight and starts showing me the damage through the clear part of the lens and I agree that it was visible under the light and would get it fixed prior to coming back. I go back inside with the office manager for what I think is to pick up my key, instead he states that I have to pay $160.50 for the work done on my car and shop supplies. When I asked what work as nothing should have been done once the damage was found and they wouldn't honor their warranty (change in the contract as agreed upon). Supposedly the bumper and headlight had already been removed by the owner. All of the pictures that were sent to me (including the ones where the damage is noted) are of the car untouched other than masking tape being applied. Even the high beams hadn't been replaced (which would have been a 30 second swap once the headlight assembly is pulled out). There should have been no work done on the car once the damage was found and you sent an email stating you wouldn't honor the lifetime warranty anymore. I shouldn't have to pay for unnecessary and unapproved work!
