I ended up visiting this shop three separate times: once for the initial tint, a second time to address issues (which they couldn't fix that day), and a third time to redo it under warranty. Even after all that, the tint still wasn't done correctly, and I won't be returning for a fourth visit. What really pushed me to write this review was the overall quality and care. Both times my vehicle came back dirty--streaks on the paint, marks on the interior, dirt on the floor mats. This car is garage‑kept and not a daily driver, so weather or window use wasn't a factor. Customer service is where small businesses really set themselves apart, and unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. Other reviews mention the attitude, and they're not wrong. Saw some good reviews so I brought my car to get some tint. I waited with my car and it took about 5 hours. I was prepared to wait about 3, but 5 seemed excessive. When it was finished, it looked great. Although I drove all the way home and I got a call saying they forgot to put the actuator bolt in, so I drove 30 minutes back. They installed it. Then I went home. Well, 3 months down the road, the tint now looks pretty bad. There are bubbles everywhere that have pieces of junk in them and some parts that are even textured. I sent them a message on fb asking for a refund, since I am in the military and no longer local. They said that they won't give a refund unless I drive to them and they take off the tint. This is super frustrating, as I'm not trying to get over on them 3 months later. I just want what I'm owed so I can have it redone at my current duty station. The way they treat military in a military town is really disgusting. Be careful with this place, they don't back up their work and clearly don't work well with military situations. read more

Do not go to Tint Plus in St Pauls NC or Fayetteville NC. They cracked my daughters windshield and denied it. We didn't ask for a refund or for the windshield to be replaced only what happened but they was defensive from the get go because they know they cracked it read more

I've had my truck tinted from this place about 2 years ago, and even though they had a warranty I never went back. Not quite the friendliest and they were in a big hurry to leave. They tinted over dust and dirt leaving air bubbles everywhere... not to mention imprecise cuts. Very poor quality. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Do not go here. The owner doesn't know how to run a business. You'll be waiting with an unknown wait time. He will be rude. Then when his work is question he will deflect and blame you for the tiny bubbling. The whole experience from start to finish was rude. He claims he walks around the vehicle with the person. Nope! Handed us the keys. Tells us bubbles will form but it's water. Gets mad when you call his business phone number on the page. It's his personal cell and expects to have a day off from customers. The tint job was not all that good but customer service really is horrible the prices are better than every where else in town so the shop owner feels like he does not have to have customer service skills. they have tinted one of my vehicles and I asked for the strip on the front to get done and he said he didn't have time so a couple weeks later I called and talked to the shop owner and asked if they were open and how much he would charge and he said yes they were open and 20 dollars so I drove 30 minutes to get done and once I arrived at 9 am he told me they were closed for the day and he even remembered talking with me but he just didn't feel like doing it due to the fact it was only 20 dollars.. I would highly not recommend this raggedy ass dude to touch any vehicle just because he has cheap prices read more

I would absolutely never recommend anyone go to Tint Plus. After getting my windows tinted I noticed dirt and bubbles in the tint. One window started to peel off in the corner about a week after getting it done. I took it back. They redid that one window, but there are still bubbles and scratches in the tint. I called to address the issue and was told no tint will be perfect. I have had several other cars tinted elsewhere and have never had these problems. The owner was rude and insisted after 20 plus years of tinting, his experience has shown him no tint will be perfect. This place is an absolute waste of time and money! After I posted this review on his Facebook page, the owner proceeded to antagonize me, and basically told me to get over his poor quality work, using the exact words "so I pissed you off, suck it up buttercup". Brand new 2021 Dodge Charger not a day old dropped off for tint not a single scratch .. go to pick up few hours later scratch on the right fender and guy is gonna try and argue me up and down that it didn't happen at his shop.. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND for new cars! ZERO STARS! read more

They jacked my window up. Scratched it all up. The tint on the back also has a scratch on it. Very disappointed. All I notice is the scratches on my actual window and can't even enjoy the new tint. Usually when you take your vehicle into a shop to have something modified, you expect to have it come out looking better than it went in. read more

Ok so let me start by saying wow, I have been trying to get into this shop all week because of the recommendations i was given, after talking to them we agreed on 120 for 20%and an extra 20 for the windshield cool let's do this, so i got up and came here at 0730 to be first in line when they open the doors at 0800 when they got in the lady came out to the car and took my information and confirmed the agreed upon price all still good. we wait till 1100 and the car looks awesome I'm excited and ready to show it off, then the guy comes in and says i owe 160 so i showed him the conversation i had with the shop on fb he said well we had to clean glue off of your windows. Now i know there wasnt any glue on the windows due to the dealership cleaning and detailing my car he then goes back out to the shop and talks to the lady and comes back and say it's still 160. so I let him know all I had on me was the 140 discussed and that I had forgotten my wallet and could go get the other 20 and bring it back.  He says sure leave your license here, umm I forgot my wallet so I need to go get it he then says we will remove the windshield strip off of the windshield then and promptly goes out and rips it out, I then went out to let them know I wasnt trying to be difficult but if there was going to be an addition of any money all they had to do is let me know before they started and I could have either said cool and go get the other 20 or I could have said it's cool I'll come back later. but the guy I was talking to said well if it were up to me you would already be heading down the road in a smart way so I told him I wanted my 20 back for the windshield strip they ripped out and he again got smart so I said since you wanna be a smart ass about it just RIP it all out and gimme my money back then. So I gave them 3 stars due to the tint looked awesome no complaints here but my complaint is if your going to up charge someone maybe it should be discussed before the work so the customer can make a decision.  in my case I only had the 140 they said and forgot my wallet so I couldnt even use the onsite arltm to get the other 20 and instead of working with me their attitude took over their professionalism and the outcome was wasted 3 1/2 hours of my saturday your employees time your shops materials and all those customers behind me their time was wasted as well all over 20 bucks SMH.
