Turkey sandwich add avocado... no turkey and hardly any avocado ‍

This is my turkey sandwich, which does not have turkey. Also paid extra for avocado which is barely existent ‍

    Thanksgiving on a Bun~

Been here a few times and the food has been good. It's a quaint place located in a strip mall that has indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the register, take a number, then the food is brought to you. They have various sandwiches, salads and entrees. For this visit I finally tried the Thanksgiving on a Bun with a side salad. It came with gravy in a condiment cup. The sandwich was ok, a bit dry so the gravy was definitely needed. I was expecting stronger "Thanksgiving"flavors but it just tasted like a turkey sandwich with a hint of Thanksgiving. But I'm glad I was able to try it nevertheless.

    West Coast Cobb was excellent.

I have never had a bad meal here. Everything is very, very good. The food is extremely fresh and of high quality. I won't even say it's expensive because you really get what you pay for here. This time we went with the West Coast Cobb Salad which was amazing and the Tri Tip French Dip which I loved. The bread, meat, lettuce, avocado, everything was super fresh. This place should be far busier than it is. The interior is fine but the patio is nicer, even though there really is no view (probably a good thing because the view would be of a busy street).

Got lunch here and they continue to provide a meal with quality ingredients. This time I got the Avocado, Lettuce and Tomato sandwich add turkey. Delicious.

First time trying this place and hadn't heard of it until I saw their instagram and it peaked my interest. When you walk in, you walk up to the front to order and then purchase until it's ready and a server comes out. The portions are huge and they have a wide assortment of sides to chose from. The pricing is fair - about $20 per person but if you don't have a huge appetite it's definitely something you can share! The food was very fresh and I liked their house dressing for the salad. As for the vibe of the restaurant, there was plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. The mood is more casual, as you order at the front and choose your own seats. Service was very good, even though it was casual, but the waitress came over to make sure our food was good. The only reason I rated this place 4 stars is because my salmon was a little overcooked. Other than that, it was a great meal!

I had a positive experience from my recent visit to Tinleaf, which is located in Plaza Paseo Real. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating. When you're inside, it's very casual with a touch of classiness. The staff are super nice and helpful. There's a large menu including vegan and vegetarian to choose from with a good option for healthy and fresh food. I think it's a little bit pricey buuut reasonable for the quality of the ingredients they use. You order at the counter and your order is delivered to your table. Simply easy! My specialty sandwich and side slaw was refreshing and was a pleasant pick-me-up for lunchtime. Overall, I recommend Tinleaf Fresh Kitchen.

This was our first time here and what a treat it was. With all of my food sensitivities, they have so many options for me and hubby found numerous items he wanted to try. Everything was cooked to perfection; so fresh, farm to table-like, and tasty! They make everything on the spot, so not pre-made, including the dressings. I had the salmon salad and hubby had the seared ahi entree which came with two sides (lots to choose from). It's light and bright inside the restaurant and service was also great . We'll be back for sure.

First time coming here and everyone in my party loved it. TinLeaf really bridges the gap between healthy and delicious. Everything was delightful. I absolutely loved the Santa Fe chicken salad. The dressing for it was Devine. Would have loved a bottle of it haha All other entrees were enjoyed as well. Service was wonderful. Super friendly and helpful staff. It was decorated super cute for the holidays. Dim-ish lighting for the most part. Only comment would be we all thought it was pretty chilly inside. Definitely will be returning in the future!

I was craving something healthy & came across this place. My goodness, everything was on point! Pretty simple ordering at the counter & we got our food quickly. The vibe is casual, open, & welcoming. Lots of seating indoor & outside. I will most definitely be back for the Tri Tip plate & lentil soup!

Love coming here!!! They always provide great service and great food!!! All the comfort food we need for a rainy day

Not sure how this is called Fresh Kitchen, food was far from fresh. We ordered 2 French dips, one with horseradish, one without. Well both came without. sandwiches were warm at best and fries were cold. Ordered kids trip tip, which was ice cold as if it came out of the fridge. Sent it back and it was microwaved and when it returned there was lint on the fries. So we sent it back again and asked for a whole new plate and not to microwaved. The worker has an attitude and rudely snaps "we don't even have a microwave" and walked away. Also ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with was soggy and cold fries. Had to have fries on that remade too. Will not be back to this place at all!

I haven't visited in years but found myself with a craving and set off! I was lucky to arrive early with no line and ordered the fries and made my own salad with the mustard vinaigrette. Everything was prepared immediately (I expected to wait longer for my food to be delivered) and the fries were nice and hot. Very satisfying meal!

Turkey entree with stuffing and mashed potsto.

Cafeteria style restaurant. You have to order at the counter and then take a number and pick your seat. There is a drink station in the restaurant with a container for water and a soda machine. Paper towels and utensils are also at the same place. You have to collect your own paper towels and utensils. There is seating inside as well as outside on the patio. Quite a lot of space. It looks a little dark in the restaurant and we chose to sit outside. My husband ordered the turkey entree with two sides - stuffing and mashed potato. He commented that the turkey and the food tasted microwaved. And he didn't really like it. My entree i ordered was charsiew entree with brussel sprouts and bokchoy with mushrooms. The charsiew was a little dry at parts but the colour looked a little off. It came with not what I would consider charsiew sauce and brown mustard- which is a very weird combination. Also the charsiew tasted a little like duck to me. The brussel sprouts look like they were made from frozen brussel sprouts and was very mushy. It was definitely not fresh. The bokchoy was sautéed to death it was also mushy. The only saving grace was the shitake mushrooms. After lunch, both of us were having tummy issues. We probably will not go back again.

Ask the Community - Tinleaf Fresh Kitchen

    Is there a Kid's menu?

Yes, we call it our Little Chef’s menu.

Are the fries to share really enough to share?

Yes! Normally the answer would be no bc who can ever share fries, right?! But in this case, yes! There are so so so many

Any a la carte options available?

Yes, we do. Our regular menu is available on the 24th from 11-2pm. You can order online or by phone. 760-431-5323

How are the portions here? Just asking bc some places give tons of grains with little protein.

I feel like the portions are fair, especially for the price. I get the salmon and never leave hungry; I usually do one grain and one vegetable as my sides for the entree plate and don't see a disparity in serving size between them. Salads are very… Read more

I watched food dropped to other tables wondering why it was taking way too long more than 45 minutes... The pasta with sausage never came out... they boxed it and comped it but it was a little too late... Cocktails were pricey. Paid $17 for a coffee martini.... They had bread, but ordered more for us late comers. It was a while before a server came to the table, long enough that when he came to take our drink orders we had viewed the menu and were ready to order our food too. He was friendly and patient though. We again requested the bread that never came prior. They were somewhat busy as it was happy hour so we waited a bit. We just chatted and caught up. After a while we once again requested bread as it still hadn't been brought to us. Third time was a charm and we were finally brought bread. The bread was the highlight of the meal. Served warm, it is soft inside and crunchy out side with a soft butter accompaniment. Shortly thereafter, our food arrived except for one of our parties orders. Two people ordered firecracker shrimp and they were cold upon arrival. One decided to send it back. Sadly my scallops were so rubbery that the provided fork and spoon could barely cut through it. I hate sending food back so I ate it but it was pretty bad. The missing order arrived and it was supposed to be blackened fish tacos. The ratio of cabbage and salsa on top to the small amount of fish in the taco was disappointing, as was the lack of seasoning. Also, we would have liked more water but it was never offered and we didn't see the server until we waved him down for the check. I've tried a lot of items on their menu over the years but the lack of quality and consistency I experienced this night may have me rethinking that choice, unfortunately.

It was as if they weren't expecting us. Being its Lent and wanting to remain in observance we were looking forward to having the Baja lobster. Unfortunately we were unaware you had to request this when making a reservation. So it was disappointing to find out we were out of luck. All lobsters were spoken for. At this point we should have gotten up and left. I "settled" for the catch of the day. It was the most flavorless piece of small white fish I think I've ever had. It was chewy and maybe a tad bit overcooked. The tiny garnishes on the side might as well not have been added as they were so tiny. I felt like I was served the last of what was in the refrigerator. Thankfully we ordered two appetizers to share otherwise we would have left hungry. We sat outside which was lovely and much quieter than inside. We were able to enjoy our dinner catching up with friends. The service was very very slow. Although it gave us time to chat, it seemed to us that we were forgotten.
