I have now been to Tiniciti Preschool for several years and I can say that it has exceeded my expectations. The teachers and staff I have interacted with along the way have only ever been caring and prepared. The staff knows every child's name and they welcome us daily with open arms. They truly make us feel like part of a family. I have two different children with different strengths and weaknesses academically, and this school has been a great learning environment for both. My son is now three years old and is thriving not only academically but socially as well. Both my kids are now pretty bilingual thanks to the variety of teachers who are always very attentive, involved and love what they do and that's what I was looking for in a school when we moved to Miami. PROS: -There is an organized system for communicating with parents plus as our child ages, he can continue at this center. -Safety: Parents/Guardians have a fob to enter the locked doors. Visitors are only let in when front staff open the door for them. The added bonus is the video footage parents are able to access to check in on their child. -Continuity: The center offers a curriculum to assist with children's development starting from infancy to pre-k. -Staff: Not only was the staff friendly but when visiting the classrooms, the children looked engaged and most importantly happy. - I love receiving pictures throughout the day and a detailed report of their curriculum daily. - They actually potty trained my child. Lesson learned - I have to trust my Instincts and should have avoided the place, but in need of the daycare we decided to try it. We stopped going there after 3 days. Toddler rooms are inappropriately cold, like you need winter clothes to be there. I never met the teachers, only with a quick wave, and I never saw their bios in the agreement-could it be because they don't have proper education in child development or any related field!? Anyways...one positive thing is that they have cameras for parents, and you'd think teachers will be appropriate, wrong! Although my child wasn't injured (which is a crazy thing to say about a daycare), she would run away every time we get to the school. It is not her first school, she had an awesome daycare that she loved going to in another state. It's a shame that you are charged a full tuition and get no service, no education and no care. My son has been attending Tiniciti since January 2023. It was difficult for me to let go but the staff and teachers really helped my son and I in the transition. School is very clean, good meals, camera access and the best staff. I am SO happy to have my son enrolled in this school. The teachers are like family and treat all the kids like their own. I highly recommend this preschool. Side note : Kids will ALWAYS get sick when they start daycare but they will adjust in time and their immunity will become stronger. Tinicity preschool is fantastic. We feel safe and are confident that our 9-month old daughter is well taken care of and enjoying her stay there. They have many different activities to stimulate learnimng and adequate development in babies. The facilities are clean and visually attractive. The staff is very friendly. A couple weeks ago, we found our son's cup, the same cup that he drinks his water from. A cup with his name tag on it, hanging on a dirty PLUNGER inside the dirty bathroom between a toilet and a full trash. We felt immediately appalled and decided to remove him from Tiniciti Brickell school. When my husband saw the cup and my 3 years old in tears for water because he was thirsty. He called miss Veronica, the accountant, who was available at the time and expressed his concerns. He requested to see the camera footage. She mentioned she would have it tomorrow. That evening we email the Vice president of the school,Mrs. Amalia, and expressed all the concerns and requested once again to see the video since they claim they have cameras on the premises. She replied and scheduled a meeting to discuss the situation and to provide us with the video footage. The next day my husband went back to the school requesting answers. NOTHING....The following day we got 2 calls. Call #1 to ask how our son is? What a surprise! My son was with the school for a year and a half, was absent from the school several times for days and they have never called to check up on him. Call#2 to find out how we plan to pay the penalty fee for him leaving the school. That's right: They had as #1 concerned the penalty fee. They were not concern about who/why/how my son's cup was at a nasty plunger inside a dirty bathroom. Their concern was that we were leaving the school (for obvious reasons) so we had to pay a 1-month tuition cancelation fee. Since everyone kept giving us the run around; we agreed to meet with Mrs. Amalia, Ms. Analis and Ms. Veronica. We were told by Mrs. Amalia that the video was suddenly unavailable. She said she forgot to request the video! How convenient on her part...As the vice president of the school that is unacceptable. WE PAID THE CANCELLATION FEE... KEEP IN MIND: No matter what happen at Tiniciti pre- school, you and your child will be the only one suffering the consequences. They will impose on you to pay an extra month if you decide to leave. I had my infant at Tiniciti for 6 months until we moved. She absolutely loved it and we were happy she was in a safe, caring, learning environment. Our experience at Tinicity: High turnover, the kids have one teacher today and another one tomorrow, this will lead to a poor connection between the child and the teacher and disorganization in the classroom, the new teacher usually doesn't have any idea of the child routine. Disorganization, they will mix your child's belongings with others, even though everything is labeled, you will lose clothes, plates, bottle lids and even food, yes, for 2 days my son did not have anything for breakfast because mysteriously his yoghurt disappeared. Infants are tied up to a chair for most of the day. Infants don't sleep on their cribs but in a chair. This year, the infants were also moved from their original room (they one they showed me at the tour) to a smaller one, without notice, without an explanation, they were moved to a hallway with a door, and the 4 years old were moved to the original infant's one, even though we pay more for infant care, resulting in less space for moving around to crawl or walk. The new space for the infant room is next to the playground so be prepared for an infant who never sleeps because unfortunately there is so much noise outside. Bigger kids will continually walk in with their shoes in the infant area, of course, this will happen a lot with them playing in the next room. They do not have a good transition policy, when they move one kid for a bigger classroom, they will just live their kid because he eventually will catch up with his peers, and if he has an accident they will be not responsible for it. The Director doesn't have any idea of what is happening inside of the classrooms because she has an academic Director who also doesn't know what is happening, so the parents have to tell them what is going on with the kids, which is actually why they are getting paid for. She started with the teacher in vacation and the assistant was very inefficiented and inexperienced. For the next week, the another unit had serious problems and all kids had moved to our unit at Roads Avenue. The school was very very desorganized ! All kids suffered consequences and our son changed completely his behavior for bad way. We had discussed with the teacher and coordination people but everyone wasn't thinking about the reality bad situation to kids. I relocated to the area a couple months ago and checked out about 40 Miami area preschools and BY FAR, this one stood out! My son has been attending since May 2013 and on our first tour a child from the class we were looking at came and gave him a hug! The staff is consistently friendly, accommodating and considerate of our family and specialty needs. PROS - 1. Security - 3 points: Door is always locked and only a staff member can let you in. Fingerprint log in/out - also monitored by staff Video surveillance in each area/class 2. Nurturing & Loving Environment - With a child education and as a previous prestige nanny, at this age the love and nurturing, positive upbringing and consistency is key for the children. They assist with our home plan of growing happy, healthy, confident, independent, inquisitive children and it shows. 3. Cleanliness & Nutrition - Always immaculate, sanitary and I have never noticed any mess. They provide healthy, nutritious hot lunches and snacks. 4. Education & Development - Staff is consistent and this is a preschool enrichment learning program, not just a "day Care". Kids have a variety of activities that they may work on as a whole class or break out into focus groups for their own creativity or exploration. 5. Support - As a single, working mom, the extended care option is extremely helpful and it is nice to finally be able to go to a yoga class or not have to worry when work goes a little longer than expected. They have a bad reputation in the Brickell area and now they have another facility too. I would not recommend this place. I have been taking my daughter to Tiniciti for over a year now and I cannot be happier with her education. My 2 year old speaks both english and spanish (our primary language at home is spanish); she can count till 40 and can recite the complete alphabet in both languages. She enjoys music class with Mr. J a ton and loves the playground. She is very excited about going to school and is always telling me about her day (how she painted, colored, learned, her friends, etc.) Their camera access is a huge plus but more important they are very clean and secure. The faculty in this school is amazing. They have taken the time to love and teach my daughter many things. I have seen her grow tremendously. I wanted to Like Tiniciti as a Brickell resident but they showed their true colors and kicked my little 3 year old boy out of school due to no fault of his own or mine. What school does that! Fortunately I found a better school in La Prima Casa Montessori whom loves my son and take great care of him. He is flourishing in that school and i recommend it. I asked for a reason as to why they kicked my son out of school and was never given a reason. Just a letter saying that he is no longer welcome. They have a bad reputation amongst the brickell area so buyer beware. In fact one of the owners saw me as i wanted to talk and hid from me. Is this the kind of place that you want your kids to be at? The teachers are very lackadaisical and do not have control over the kids. I witnessed this first hand. I was told by one teacher to not wear shorts when picking up my son, what is that? Jessie and her crew along with the front desk personnel are there to take your money and will disappear afterwards as they have another office across the street that you can't access. I am constantly asked by moms about the schools near our area (Brickell). My experience at this school was so bad that I'm just writing in the hopes that it will help other moms. I placed my child at 6 months. After paying the crazy non refundable fees, I enrolled my child with the most positive attitude. In the first month he was there, his teacher left and was replaced (but 3 weeks later came back). An inexperienced girl would come and help, which actually made me happy because he would get some attention for a change. I then witnessed a fire drill where at least 5 babies were placed in one crib. I remember getting there and seeing the babies rolling in the cribs and screaming. I asked to be told in advance if they had another fire drill because I didn't want my baby to experience that again. Sure enough, I wasn't told the next week they had it. The day I pulled him out he was only given 3oz of milk ALL day (until 5:30 pm) when my husband got there he fed the baby 7oz because he was so hungry. His teacher would leave early and someone else would have to take over. The other teacher's response: "oh, I don't know where his bottle is." My husband, after finding the full bottle "it's here" and her response: "oh, I didn't know, well, he wasn't fussing." His miserable 3oz feeding was actually logged in his daily log as all he had. We had enough and that was his last day. The teachers also complained about all the work and always seemed overtired. So many great things to say about Tiniciti. The teachers and staff at the school have always gone out of their way to assist and accommodate us and are always very responsive to our requests for information. The school incorporates technology into the learning process and has a strong curriculum to develop children's learning skills. The facility is always spotless which has to be a challenging task with the amount of activity during the school day. My husband and I are very happy with the security at the school as the front office staff seems to know every single parent and has to be there to open the door in person. And we get to check in on our son from time to time during the day with the video link to his classroom. Tiniciti isn't just a "daycare". I've had people question me when I say that my toddler is at school, people try to correct me and say "daycare". Pretty easy to change their minds after showing them the daily activities our son participates in reflected in the photo journal we receive from his teachers every afternoon. We looked at a number of facilities for our son and had him attending another location prior to TIniciti opening. Once we attended the Tiniciti open house, it was a no-brainer and we signed him up that very day and haven't looked back. No competition out there. read more

My now 3yo started TiniCiti at 4 months. It was so hard when I had to return to work and leave him there that first time. But I had a good feeling about TiniCiti right away. First impressions count. I liked that they gladly showed me around when I dropped in without an appointment - unlike others I had been to. Meaning they didn't have time to stage anything or run round cleaning up, notifying the teachers etc...I got to see it exactly as is and I liked what I saw. Most important to me at this age is the staff that are with my son every day, that he is happy and safe. I need to know that he feels comfortable with them and I need to feel good about them too. We have found everyone to be very kind and nurturing, helpful and friendly. I feel like they treat our kids as their own. From the security guard who has helped me many times when I've have my hands full, to the director who has helped me talk my toddler out of a tanrtum and everyone in-between. He has loved every teacher he's had and we have remained close to them even after he's moved up to the next class. The facility is very clean and kept in good condition. They do a wide variety of activities, including weekly music class (our favorite) and yoga. They have cameras that you can log into so you can see your kid whenever you like. They have security guards and security cameras. They have an outdoor and indoor play area. I like that my son has outdoor play time twice a day as long as it is not raining. I love that he is bilingual. After living in Miami 15 years I am embarrassed to say I still haven't learnt Spanish. I love that he has, thanks to TiniCiti. We are very happy. The teachers are very professional (Ms. Mirelle, Ms Jessica, and Ms Rachel) and took care of my son as if it where there own child, they made us feel like we where all family. We decided to cancel the enrollment of our little baby girl from Tiniciti Pre-School at the Roads, FL because the following reasons: 1. They do not have a proper process of baby's detachment. Does not exist an introductory process for new enrolled baby and her parents to smooth the anxiety of detachment and help them to adapt and gain the required confidence on the new environment. Face-to-face sessions between child-teacher is a best practice that most of pre-schools apply. 2. The school owners policy is do not give "too much" or more affection to one child than another, regardless if the baby is a new student. They keep an inflexible policy regarding minimum affection expressions, even when the baby is not feeling good, arguing they are not a "day care". 3. They showed no ability to identify different temperaments, personalities, and needs of each individual baby in order to provide the proper attention to her specific needs. 4. The staff do not provided proper attention when the baby needed more care. They allowed my little baby crying for long periods of time without properly addressing of situation. 5. They were unable to help properly my baby when she still did not feel incorporated as part of classroom group, nor neither to be part of class activities. They did not help enough my baby to gain the confidence to play or interact with her classmates. Often they allowed my baby stayed just stand up in the same place for long periods of time. 6. Because of previous points, my baby presented some health and emotional issues, being the most critical a recent Bronchiolitis. Also, she started to present some nervous behaviors such as avoiding to play with other children and biting nails. We check the potential causes of those conditions with her primary pediatrician and an occupational therapist and they pointed to the traumatic experience our baby suffered at the school. 7. They showed attitude and self-justification when receive our complaints, as well as lack of proper addressing for the solutions. 8. They ignored our requests to show the teacher credentials and training certificates. 9. Directors and owners seem like they still do not enforce rules to avoid "Third hand smoke" with teachers who smoke and deal with the children on a daily basis. 10. Daily incidents reports were not disclosed properly on time, our baby suffered some minor injuries that were identified just after we pick her up. 11. I love that Tiniciti is in the same building where I work and I can go at anytime to see my daughters. On the days I can't go, I'm able to watch them through Tiniciti's secured camera available only to parents. My oldest daughter who is now 3 has been there since she was four months and she loves it. I didn't miss a milestone thanks to her teacher who helped capture every moment. My smallest is almost 2yrs old who started at three months, and I'm at peace knowing she's in good hands. The teachers are friendly and attentive to each child. The communication between me and the teachers is phenomenal. I'm happy to say Tiniciti is like a second home to the family.
