It looks chaotic from the outside because it's in Radhuspladsen but when you walk in, you'll find a clean and well-organized convenience store. Probably the nicest 7-Eleven I've ever seen. They have fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh bakery items (cookies, doughnuts, muffins, brownies, pastries), hot food items (empanadas, pizza, sandwiches, bread...the taquitos look sus though - they look like fried/ baked tube of puff pastry), and your typical convenience items. I only grabbed drinks and snacks. There's this chocolate milk called Cocio that tasted nice. The times I've been here were pretty odd times: early morning before touring the city and at night when I'm ready to go back to my hotel. So, it was never crowded and busy. But I can see locals that work in the city center that would grab a quick breakfast here before heading to work.

Specialty Haribo gummies, crazy chocolates from around the world and grasshopper/worm snacks line the walls. Fine ice creams in freezer. It has a nice selection of regular groceries that you might need even some organic (fx milk, eggs), a friendly helpfull staff and the possibility to buy morning bread, candy, liquor - though all in small amounts of course. And as 7-Elevens go, it's decent with a good selection of snacks and drinks. Espress coffee drinks seem to be a hit here with a machine that makes them to order. I wanted a beer and a bag of salty chips to go with it, easily finding both and paying for them at the register. My lack of Danish was not a problem as the credit card machine accepted my form of payment with no issue. Easy!

I am staying in the Menninger Urban House around the corner, so this 7-Eleven location is very convenient for a quick snack or even a cheap lunch/dinner. They have a good selections prepared food behind the counter as well as stuff in the refrigerated section that you can either eat cold or heated in the microwave. What I suggest if you are not in a hurry at the train station is to come here as the prices are cheaper than the 7-Elevens in the train station. For example I found out after I bought a 6 pack cans of Coke at the 7-Eleven in the train station and at a later time realized when that it was about 20 dkk cheaper at this location that is outside the train station. I'm not sure if everything is marked up in the train station, but it seems that way. Just compare your prices when shopping. The employees are patient and nice. The store is clean and well stocked.

This country shuts down, literally, during the holidays and we were in a mad dash to locate shampoo and body soap. While they did carry staples such as toothpaste and toothbrushes, there was no shampoo. Despite that, it was interesting to note the differences in the stores here in the US and stores abroad. This shop also offered shots of juice that resembled wheat grass, energy infusions from juice blends, and healthier alternatives. I also became addicted to the Vitamin Well water fortified with vitamin C and E in order to stave off any possible colds during my travels. The store interior also reflects Scandinavian simplicity and design: clean, clear advertising, and maneuverability within packed into a small space. While prices here were relatively the cheapest compared to other shops, the staff persons were understanding that I spoke no English and were able to assist me with my requests and purchases with no issue. Second, they were open on Christmas Day when really nothing was, so it helped us when we were looking for a snack after exploring Nyhavn.
