Interaction with plumber was negative, and the plumber broke a part that was installed around a year ago and blamed the previous plumber. No clean up. The worst part is he unplugged my chest freezer, which I didn't notice until the following weekend. All the food in the freezer was ruined, and the plumber didn't respond to my complaint. No reimbursement or apology for all the ruined food.

Kaduce was the only one to respond. They came and took a look to determine if it could be fixed or replaced. We expected to have to replace but they said, with a few new parts we could keep it running! Woohoo! They had to order the parts which took a couple of days but offered some space heaters (along with a couple that we owned) to keep us warm enough until the parts arrived. We were a little concerned about leaving town on our extended vacation with a newly repaired furnace but their manager suggested a new thermostat that could be controlled over the internet. We would receive notifications if the temperature dropped in the house, etc. It worked perfectly and we could not be happier. We also signed up for their service to check our A/C, etc. Makes so much sense as a home gets older that it needs regular check-ups just like us. Now one of our faucets has been dripping, so needless to say, we called Kaduce and scheduled a plumber. All of their employees have been polite, neat, and organized. They have clearly explained what they needed to do and have cleaned up after they have finished.

So, my $80 service call cost $154. Also, they tried to get me to pay for said repair before the tech even started!?!? Not how the world works. Things just got extremely sketchy by the end. On January 23, 2025, I had a technician from Metro come to inspect my furnace, which was not functioning properly. The technician ran several tests, showing me that the furnace was not operating as expected. He claimed that the original installers had improperly set up the unit, then identified a huge air leak and adjusted the gas pressure. He also noted that my temperature levels were dangerously high, which he described as a failure and cause for worry. After making adjustments to the system, the technician told me that the furnace would continue to run inefficiently until it eventually failed, he also did something to cause my humidifier to leak all over, citing the improper installation as the cause. The technician also informed me that I would need to replace the unit entirely, which seemed unwarranted, as the furnace is only about two years old. Also told me it would be almost 12k for a new one or a cleaning and seal for almost 4k. When I scheduled the inspection online, the website clearly stated a $60 diagnostic fee. However, when the technician presented the bill, I was charged $215. Upon questioning the discrepancy, the technician explained that the $60 fee applied only if a part were replaced, labeling the work he did as a "quick fix" rather than a diagnostic service, despite the coupon's terms indicating it covered diagnostic repair. The whole reason I scheduled with them was because of the 60$ ON THE SAME DAY, I had the original installer come to assess the furnace. After the bad tech told me the furnace was installed improperly. He immediately came out no charge. He explained that the issue was simply that the damper fins were closed, which prevented proper airflow. He corrected this and addressed the gas pressure issue. The technician confirmed that the previous technician's actions--turning up the gas pressure--would have likely caused long-term damage and elevated CO2 levels, putting my family's health at risk. The installer also stated that a simple cleaning and adjustment of the fins would have resolved the issue, without the need for any major repairs or a full replacement. I have photos of the coupon, the invoice, and evidence of the inaccurate statements made by the technician. It won't allow me to upload the invoice nor the service information that was done. I uploaded the pictures. These guys are dangerous.
