They let me sit and conversed with us equally while we waited for his stylist to be ready. Inside it was very retro barber-esc. He has been three times now, and I wanted to let him go a few times before reviewing. That said I am so happy we found this place for him after he moved from his old barber. He really enjoys his haircuts every time he goes. It always looks so similar to the picture he wants / how he describes. It's also awesome that he has been to multiple stylist's who work here and have enjoyed each of the cuts equally. Definitely give them a try, even if you have hair-cut anxiety or aren't sure exactly what you want.

I have been here twice so far…read more My first cut was free. I got the "MVP" treatment. Really nice, but unnecessary. I would never pay for a neck and shoulder massage, but If it's free, bring it on. The haircut was OK but the customer service was phenomenal. Because my next haircut was only going to be $16 because of their awesome rewards program, I decided to go again. The second time I encountered the exact inverse. The haircut is one of the best I have gotten. I love it. I rarely like my haircuts on the first day. I usually need a week for my hair to grow in until I really like it. But this haircut was awesome. I felt confident with it as soon as I left. The customer service, was kind of strange. She was nice enough, but complained a lot about work and I found myself sitting in the seat in silence until the haircut was over. I will be back because of the great prices and the awesome atmosphere. I hope that they can get the customer service and quality to match and be a bit more consistent. I will be back and i would recommend to friends.

This place was always welcoming and warm whenever I was scheduled there, but last time I went there…read morethe unthinkable happened. Jackie cut my hair. Dear god I cannot fathom her understanding of hair. I cannot even fathom her understanding of listening. I told her "Do not touch the top, only touch the sides." In Jackies twisted mind, this meant "I should touch the top." I have a birds nest for hair, and its all jackies fault. Half of my head is shaved, the other half is thinned. I told Jackie that I liked using clays in my hair. If you know anything about hair clays, they don't really work when the hair is thinned. Jackie turned me away from the mirror, and continued to cut the top of my head down from being healthy and voluminous to thin. Jackie destroyed my hair. She told me "You looked the the flying dutchman before" and proceeded to laugh. She has ruined my appearance, to prove this I have attached a before and after picture. Its safe to say one thing. I will be wearing a hat from now on. Alright guys update time. I have since been back to hoyts, and have made sure not to schedule with Jackie and instead have gone with alternatives. It has made my experience a lot more enjoyable.
