He assumed it was a fake , because my hairstyle is different. He was upset because I downgraded my order of hemp wraps because he denied my friend service because she is 20. This smoke shop does not ID consistently and it's need to be within the ownership to come to an understanding that if we have receipts from your establishment that we bought HEMP WRAPS , which is not a tobacco product . You cannot deny service. We have receipts . I did the right thing as a responsible citizen of this country not to buy her products even though she has bought hemp wraps here before (which is a non tobacco product). I only tried to buy items I needed because this smoke shop was the only one . Very sad. I was denied service or as he said "voided sale " . Because he is a certified ID checker and assumed it was fake . So yes they sell to minors . Yes if you're black and decide to show up when he's here and your appearance is different , he will deny service .

Before I enter, I thought smoke shop was a dark and smelly place. Once I opened the door, my old imagery was all wiped out. Smokey Doke is modern and clean. Employee was really helpful and patient. I actually met the owner, Richie. He educated me the difference between CBD and Delta 8 aka THC. All these acronyms blew me off. These things are in the forms of gummy or tincture. Very easy to handle and consume. You know me, I'm adventurous. I tried both. And, yeah. Delta 8 is a little overwhelming for me. I need to be on vacation and out of touch first. (Means no Yelp or social media when I use it.) CBD or Hemp occupies only a small section of the store. They're building a cigar room at the adjacent corner. The rest of store is filled with smoke accessories and stuff I have not seen but known to other regular users. It's fantastic to learn this is not the only store in Houston.
