I spent my…read morewhole life looking for someone who could bring my hair dreams into reality and I finally found that in Dominik. I tried a handful of salons in FFM (always leaving disappointed) and eventually discovered Bel Hair-a super cute salon with amazing staff who attend to the little details that make your experience special. Dominik is as friendly as he is talented and he always makes me feel understood and cared about. We have had a blast doing everything from a grey bob (my husbands fave!) to a long purple style with layers! Each time we brainstorm together and I leave happy!!! I am moving back to the US in a few weeks but you can be sure I will be planning my hair cuts around my visits back to Frankfurt!

I am going to…read moreedit my review, keep the gist of my point and cut it short, so it stays up because I want people to know that I experienced this business as a bad one and everyone here is free to leave negative reviews if they had a negative experience; this is the whole point of this and in San Francisco we know this, so most businesses adjust their ego and pride accordingly when they are exposed to public on this site. If they think one negative review is going to ruin their reputation then what does that say about their confidence levels? So I was given a bad hair cut. Most certainly it wasn't worth 50 Euros. A seasoned hair dresser knows that women who are not happy with their hair cut can feel bitter about it and that is normal, because hair is very important to most people. The hair dresser did not follow my request at all and I ended up with a lousy cut. I was in the US recently and my old hairdresser confirmed that the cut was badly done and I had it fixed. The hospitality that they boast to have was not there, though this was the part that does not bother me as much as the bad hair cut. The reaction I get to this review is typical of many other people or businesses in a culture that loves to critisize but can't take it when directed at them. I would suggest to take this as a learning experience being confronted w their own shortcomings and with that to improve their services. It is also worth learning the real difference between good versus lousy customer service in order to avoid thinking themselves as all perfect, with nothing to improve therefore immune to critisizm. Also may be useful to realize that a review by a new customer, a total stranger can be just as valid as a review written by a long time friend or customer who has a relationship and would carry a certain positive bias.
