From our very first interaction, they made us feel supported, understood, and genuinely excited about the day we were creating. Our ceremony was deeply personal and a little unconventional. We wanted something with pagan elements, including casting a circle and a handfasting ritual, and Vanessa could not have been more open, accepting, and enthusiastic about helping us bring it to life. We came to her with the bones of what we wanted, and she helped us polish it into a ceremony that felt meaningful, intentional, and completely true to us. There was never a moment where we felt judged or like we needed to make our wedding fit into someone else's idea of what a ceremony should look like. On the day itself, Chad and Vanessa made us feel so incredibly special. They found breathtaking, quiet locations for our first look and ceremony and somehow made the entire experience feel intimate, relaxed, and full of joy. Their playful banter over who got the better photo made us laugh, and it was obvious how much they genuinely care about both their work and the couples they photograph. Their experience also became invaluable whenever a little hiccup arose. No matter what came up, Chad and Vanessa seemed to immediately have a solution. They have clearly done this enough times to know how to adapt without ever making you feel like something is going wrong. Instead, you just feel taken care of. Our elopement turned out to be everything we hoped it would be: intimate, beautiful, meaningful, a little wild, and completely ours! And now we have absolutely stunning photographs that allow us to step right back into those moments. If you are considering eloping, especially if you want something personal, unconventional, adventurous, or simply different from a traditional wedding, I cannot recommend The Outlovers enough. Chad and Vanessa don't just photograph your elopement. They help you create an experience you will want to remember for the rest of your life. We will forever be grateful that they were part of ours.

Chad and Vanessa are down to Earth, kind, and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Our photos match exactly how we felt about our day: pure bliss! Preparing for our trip, the Outlovers checked in with us at every step of the way from the moment we reached out to them to the morning of our elopement. They guided us on exactly what to pack and made sure we were prepared for any weather, which came in handy when we unexpectedly encountered chilly winds and light rain. They even brought along items that we would never think of or couldn't logistically bring in a suitcase. They helped to configure the backpack to carry the suit the morning of the elopement and pulled out an umbrella for us to use, in addition to our rain jackets. They even went out of their way to help with an elaborate surprise and preserve our picnic during travel. Chad and Vanessa are more than just photographers. They helped us plan our trip and provided advice on where to visit and what to do, even when we weren't with them. They were our expert hiking guides, leading us on our drive up the mountain and through the dark with our headlamps on to our sunrise ceremony spot. Even as we raced to catch sunrise, they helped keep the mood light and made sure we never lost sight of the reason for the day. They have such an obvious passion for the outdoors and that helped us appreciate the experience that much more. We couldn't have chosen a better pair than Chad and Vanessa to accompany us on our special day!
