Personally, not a fan of this particular behavioral health center. I was a patient here for three…read moredays. I signed a AMA to get released before my three days so once you sign that paperwork within 24 hours, somebody is supposed to come talk to you and then release you however they waited almost 2 full days before sending someone to talk to me by that time. I only had a day left and did not see any therapist or have any medication given to me. The day I was leaving, they prescribed me medicine 20 minutes before I left so they had no idea how the medicine was going to react to me and sent me about my way. I also had an incident inside the building where I started to feel nauseous and went to the bathroom to throw up somehow I ended up on the floor. The nurses did not really care at all. Nobody gave me any sort of medical attention besides asking if I was OK. I proceeded to throw up from almost 8 months straight after leaving the facility because not a single provider gave me proper medical attention. I personally wouldn't even send a dog here. Don't know how this place is still functioning because if it was up to me, I would shut it down.

Additionally, the one appointment that she did have the chance to attend was never billed to my insurance. Despite calling the office multiple times, they never removed the charges or filed with insurance. There are much better options in Fort Wayne with ethical practices.

Elizabeth Porter is an awesome lady who has helped me get my footing in life again. She allows me to just vent my frustrations and she's very understanding. I don't think I've ever met someone who is more personable in such an environment. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes over my scheduled time to be seen, and if I had it's because Elizabeth is human and needs to eat (I refuse to get between someone and their food haha). My appointments are always quality, and I'll continue to go here!

Still, I wanted to give counseling a chance since it took a lot of resolve to seek help in the first place. I called to schedule the next appointment, left a voicemail, and didn't receive a return call. After a week, I called and left another voicemail. I never received a return call. At my most vulnerable, I sought help, and I was abandoned. I would not recommend this business to my worst enemy.
