She's organized and timely, listens carefully , and answers questions about long and short term goals. She gives me options and alternatives to think about; I see how she constantly strives for her own professional goals and objectives. She continues to learn and try new things. I rarely write reviews, but I do want her to know how much I appreciate her and her team. Great job Jenny!

After interviewing several planners, I chose Chisholm because Jenny seemed the most capable of…read morehelping me with a sound financial plan from a financial and legal point of view. Jenny has been fantastic. She took the time to understand my current situation (which involved divorce and real estate and college costs) and needs for the future and built a complete plan for me and quickly updated it with changes I had. She is also incredibly responsive and gets back to me whenever I have any question. She is also a licensed broker and I decided to have her manage part of my portfolio (which she does through Woodbury and which includes free ongoing financial planning). I feel like my money is actively managed and I like the quarterly check-ins as they help to keep me on task - and she reaches out to schedule them, it's not just a notice on my dashboard like I have with Fidelity. Her investment strategy is slow and steady wins the day, which I am on board with.

When they're good, they're great. I have to say that first. I've rode with them a bunch of times…read moreand things were great, the car was clean, the driver was friendly. Most of the time, the driver was even early. But, then there were a few bad times. Three to be exact. On three different occasions, they didn't show up at all, and I missed my doctor appointments. On two of the occasions, I was able to call once I realized they weren't coming and reschedule with my doctor, but when I called North Country Transportation to inquire about the ride, no one answered any of the times. I left voice mails on these days, including today, when they didn't show, and no one responded. I sent a text to the number, and on the days they didn't show up, no one responded. I waited and kept trying to contact them until there were only fifteen minutes to get to my appointment and then had to reschedule with my doctor and they still didn't show at all. They didn't even call me to say they weren't coming, and I have to believe after this happening a few times that they knew they weren't going to come. Because on most occasions when I had a ride set up with them, if I sent a text, someone replied pretty quickly. Or, if I left a voice mail, someone would text me back. But on all of the occasions where they didn't show, no one responded at all to either. The ride was set up to be one hour before the appointment. That's plenty of time, and it's pretty poor practice for a business to just not show up, and not respond to communications. It's not even like I was impolite or angry or anything when I left a message about it. I was polite and just inquiring whether someone was coming. No response. If you miss three doctor appointments in a year, a lot of doctors will stop seeing you, so I can't afford to take a chance on these guys anymore. I'm sure they don't care, but if they keep doing this to people, they probably won't be around for long.
