Also, when I asked for auto body shops that are euro certified they said," they had none within your network but feel free to go to anyone that you prefer"...Absolutely asinine. My parked car was hit. I have Statefarm for insurance. I pay monthly, you repair my car. End of story. I'm a physician and I would never offer this level of customer service and lack of transparency to my patients. I'm so disappointed.

Two different agents in Houston, TX, one in Dallas and now two in the Denver area- Tyrone was first and I quickly sought a new agent from State Farm (just go with Blanca Kerschen, don't take the risk with Tyrone). I have always been an auto policy holder, and over the years added on renters insurance for my apartments. In June of 2018, I bought a house and attempted to transfer my auto policy from Texas, add on my partner's car to my policy, AND add on homeowners insurance. You would think this would result in the red carpet being rolled out, yeah? Quite the opposite. Tyrone botched the transfer of my auto policy from Texas to Colorado. Instead of transferring me as an existing customer with State Farm, he cancelled my policy in Texas in order to justify charging me a $94 dollar "application fee." He illegally obtained my credit card information and charged it without my signature on the authorization form (that they had filled out on my behalf). He would not put his verbal commitments to me in writing and consistently contradicted what he would say via phone and via email. The dollar amounts for every transaction that appeared on my bank statements were always completely discrepant from what I was quoted via phone OR via a formal quote. Ultimately, my opinion of Tyrone Byrd is that he is an unprofessional "hustler" who has absolutely no qualifications to merit possession of a state-sanctioned license to do business ethically. Sadly, he has some real gems that work for him- shout out to his two dudes that are always in the office trying to clean up his messes. You guys deserve an award.

Apparently when you buy a home from 1915 you should buy code coverage or else any expenses to bringyour house up to code from 1915 to 2022 will not be covered. I am now on the hook for upwards of $25,000. I have called the Michael Marlovits office twice to talk to Michael personally about how this happened and he has not had the time to get back to me apparently. This was a gross error that could have been avoided. I was never educated about this product. As the customer, I felt it was State Farm's responsibility to educate me on what I needed since I am not an insurance expert. I do not feel like Michael Marlovits is living up to "like a good neighbor, State Farm is there". Amazing amazing experience! Samantha Bohn was friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond :)

With that being said, this is easily the worst experience I've had with a business in awhile My wife and I purchased two insurance policies from Marci's agency about a month ago, and we paid for both in full. Over the following week we had two separate fraudulent charges pulled by her agency without any kind of explanation by Marci's staff. To further frustrate and cause concern, when I called State Farm's 1-800 number for additional assistance (since we could not get a timely or straightforward response from our agent), the representative told us that he could not find our auto policy, despite the fact that we purchased this over a week prior, and we'd be left having to wait on our non-responsive agent. As it stands we canceled our policies over two weeks ago and are still waiting on a refund. Insurance is one of those things that may seem insignificant until you need a responsive and honest agent, and if you've chosen this agency, you may be in a very frustrating place - as we have been for a month now. I'd highly recommend looking elsewhere.
