The look of the place lets you know what you're in for. The interior is decked out in stylish woods and deep red walls, with authentic musical instruments from the Middle East dotted around the place. The tone is stylish and grown-up, which is why the restaurant is popular with everybody - private diners, large parties and corporate events.
For my hubby and I, Kismet was the perfect setting for a romantic meal for two. I went for the Chicken Tikka Balti, which positively sizzled as it was delivered to our table. At just under £7 I found this to be really reasonable and I paid an extra £1 so I could get my hands on some lovely mushrooms. What a great evening, I only wish Kismet were closer to my home. The service was great, their fully licensed bar satisfied our needs and we came out wishing we hadn't driven.
I've said it once, but I'll say it again, you'll struggle to find anywhere else this sophisticated outside of the city centre.
