Tiffany McMillan has been my accountant since 2014. Our family had always completed and filed our own taxes and never saw a need for an accountant until 2013. As a military family of 27 years, we moved quite a bit and bought/sold houses as we went along. In 2013 our family experienced a catastrophic event, which resulted in the loss of our home through a short sale. That coupled with gains/losses in past years, an ongoing IRS audit, and a mistake in the previous years filing (thanks Turbo Tax) resulted in a messy tax situation. At that point I prayed and started doing research for someone who was an expert, honest, smart, and experienced. Our goal was to honestly address and fix the issues and pay the IRS if that is what was needed. Tiffany single handedly navigated our family through a very complicated and tough tax situation. Tiffany worked the issues as they came up and believe me where the IRS is concerned, there were plenty. She is quick to respond and great at research, which is extremely important when dealing with the IRS. We can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and we have Tiffany to thank for that. This is the first and only Yelp review or online review we have ever given and I am giving this review because I highly recommend her. We are thinking of starting a small business and as we begin to plan and build our team, we know Tiffany McMillan will be included. read more

Our first year working with Tiffany was our 2018 Tax Return and she did an excellent job. Our tax situation has gotten more complicated since meeting her in person to complete that process in the spring of 2019. She rapidly adapted to the COVID environment in March 2020 and addressed our new needs after buying a home in 2019 via phone discussions. We relocated out of Virginia in late 2020 and she handled having an additional state return with ease. While it is easy to neglect tax prep throughout the year, her informative monthly newsletter has been a great resource, especially with legislative actions impacting the tax code. We look forward to continuing to work with Tiffany in the years ahead. read more

She will readily available to meet my needs without any pressure for me to utilize her service. Not to forget, she extended her service throughout the year in case different questions arise. Tiffany definitely exceeded my expectations! read more

I will definitely use her services in the future, and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs help filing taxes. read more

We have always filed our taxes with Turbo Tax, but had a little more complicated situation in 2015, so decided to have a professional do the taxes. We found Tiffany through Dave Ramsey's website. She was very professional and kind enough to give up a about 3 hours of her weekend to do our taxes. She went over the whole federal and state returns with us when she finished and e-mailed us to let us know they had been accepted. She made filing our taxes easy! read more

Our taxes are pretty complicated and our previous preparer was taking longer to get them filed. Typically, we would require multiple visits and often we wouldn't get them filed until mid March. With Tiffany, it took exactly one 2 hour visit to do our taxes. Done, and it isn't even March yet. She explained every item on the form in a way that an normal person could understand, and was reasonably priced too. read more
