I had a very good experience with Animals Faith -- they quickly and correctly figured out my dog's…read moreproblem areas, and explained to me in full detail the problems and how it will be resolved. They were really patient with my dog and also me during the entire process. They made a commitment to me that they will help my dog completely and they did just that, so I am happy I came to them. The staff is professional, polite, and caring, and the owner is highly skilled and something like a dog whisperer. Also, well organized and hygienic facilities. I recommend dog parents bring their pets to Animals Faith!

I adopted a dog, after being very up front about specific circumstances in my household with other…read moreanimals (this was reinforced over 4 in-person visits, including 2 home visits, and countless text communications), and was repeatedly assured that "we will fix this," "we will help you," and "he can do this, there won't be any problems." I believe my concerns were glossed over and I was not told the truth about this dog's true personality (he was sweet, but very nervous around all other animals, not just the other dogs, as I had been told). Sadly, every time I contacted the rescue and the owner about the challenges we were dealing with (which were getting worse, the stress of which was making my other animals very sick), I got the same responses, but no actionable assistance was every delivered, other than repeated directions to isolate the dog further and continually increase his time in the crate (from 19 hours a day to more than 21 at the end of a two month period). Moreover, as time went on, the owner got more and more frustrated with me and became increasingly judgmental of the challenges I was bringing to her for assistance. Finally, I was blamed for the problems that existed from the start and moreover, was accused of "exaggerating" the problems in my home with my other animals in order to have an excuse not to keep the dog I adopted. My problems are solely with the owner. Her staff was helpful, polite, and professional. The owner was judgmental, ignored my pleas for help, and accusatory. I finally returned the dog because my other animals were sickened by the stress of having this particular dog in the house, I could get no useful help in managing his stress or their reactions to him, and moreover, the idea of continuing to "work" with this organization was unpalatable for me. This was an emotionally-draining experience, concluded with a heart breaking decision that was made infinitely worse by working with someone who thinks so highly of her own training and expertise that she cannot consider other points of view. I feel strongly that animal rescues are valuable, community-oriented organizations, but the owner of this particular organization needs to learn how to work with people as well as dogs.
