I am buying my first home and happened to fall in love with a 1949 colonial, which simply due to being a 70 yo house comes with a whole list of potential problems. Most importantly, besides just providing a 120 page report with pictures and notes, he also walked me though every finding and pointed out the areas of concern. Tier1 Home Inspections simply made things easy for us. Our home inspection took place on an absolutely miserable day. Not only was it snowing, but it was also -7 degrees outside. Even though it was cold, they pressed on and thoroughly inspected our potential home. As we moved inside, they inspected EVERYTHING! We have a complete, detailed report with notes showing us everything we should be concerned with now, and maybe what we should think about for later. We were selling our house and the buyer had an inspection done using their own inspector. So many things were noted as defective and needs replacing that we decided to get our own inspection done. I contacted Jason at Tier1 and he was able to come out for the inspection in 2 days. He allowed me to walk along during the inspection, which was nice.
