Kimberly sold me on Artisan because she is meticulous, detail-oriented and very knowledgeable on the product. She was very clear on what customers did and did not like including her own experience which helped to confirm what I wanted. The install was very smooth and he walked me through how to use the accessories. I did get another option from The Container Store and it very obvious for me to move forward with Kimberly and the design. It was thought out for what I needed and thorough in the measuring to accommodate my space / tools which I was not getting from the competitor. There was no thought there or expansion on my initial ask. Back to the garage, I would have Artisan or my handyman paint the walls. I did have a handyman remove the racks and cover the holes beforehand as I wanted a smooth install, but I didn't have them paint the walls white again. It is not a big deal but a note to anyone else who is on the fence about it. I did have a small work station installed and I did ask about lights or tools to hang right in from of me. I don't think they offer that in their current catalog but I do think that should add in the future. The handy-wall is larger so I don't think it would fit in that space to hang smaller tools. If you are looking for something similar, you may want to design the space to leave that open and do it yourself. I have a garden rack next to it so I do use the lights and the wooden pole to hang a fan. Overall, I am very happy with the final product and the install. I have had a lot of experiences where the sales sold a great experience or tool only for the install to be a mess or disrespectful to your home. So I do dread installs and thankfully that was not an issue here. It was exactly what I wanted and Kimberly and the installer made the experience very easy and stress-fre.

My designer, Samantha, was so professional, helpful and thoughtful. She helped me design our his and hers closets and my laundry room. She thought of things that I didn't consider adding! The design process was seamless and I loved that she provided 3D images the day after the consultation. Also, Samantha answered all my follow up questions before and even after signing the contract. They were reasonable in price and by Nicole and The install took a full day (3 spaces). My installers, Andrew and Sergio, were awesome, worked quietly and efficiently. They did an amazing job bringing the images to life and cleaning the spaces after the install. I needed to make one small adjustment after the install. Samantha submitted the ticket and they took care of it with no issues. I am very happy and I highly recommend the company and Samantha!

I worked with Alyssa Gerald on 3 reach-in closets and my primary walk-in closet. She incorrectly took the measurements. I self-installed the 3 reach-in closets and wondered by the materials didn't fit perfectly but I made them work. On Tuesday, Nov. 26, the contractor came to install my primary walk-in closet and let me know that the measurements were incorrect and that he couldn't continue the installation. I called the installation service, the Store, and Alyssa and was told that the store manager would address my concern--I still haven't received a call, email, or text. Alyssa called me to tell me that her "tool didn't calibrate the measurements correctly" and they'll redesign the closet free of charge. I asked for more of a discount because my other 3 closets were also incorrect and I had planned to have my closets completed by thanksgiving and this is an inconvenience that no one is treating as urgent when I've spent almost $10k. She said her manager would get in contact with me directly--I still haven't been contacted. If I'm not contacted by Monday, I'll be looking into taking legal action because I've spent too much money to be ignored and to have the agreement I signed breached by TCS.

Kate, who hub "M" said was 'very friendly and reassuring', spoke with my husband several times, assuring him the entire job could be accomplished in 3 days at most, maybe 3 separate visits, by she and her 2 assistants. Come #1 appt. day, 9 a.m.. a man & woman showed up & began packing every item in and upon downstairs furniture in huge new boxes, taped up. My hub, who was NOT asked or instructed by Kate's crew of 2 whether or how to help, went upstairs where he packed everything in his professional art studio into his saved boxes. By 1:30 p.m. the 2 helpers said they were through for the day (9 a.m.-- 1:30p.m.) and departed, leaving a high stack of huge filled cardboard boxes stacked high at far end of our open plan living/dining area. They said they'd return to work on upstairs bedrooms but next morning someone (not Kate iirc) called hub to say the heft young man had hurt his back packing. Since my hub alone had carried boxes to garage storage bin, I wondered.
